I have been actively involved in the QC/QA Inspection - Nondestructive Testing (NDT) trade since 1983, and am fully versed in all aspects of heavy industry sectors, as my CV states in detail.

I feel my expertise and experience in the construction/inspection of pressure vessels, pipelines, mining and petro-chemical components as well as the NDT - QC/QA trade in general would be a great asset to your company and field working teams throughout the world.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

1987 - Present
Shadow Inspection Services Ltd.

-NDT Owner - QA/QC Manager responsible for all in-house and external services, including sales,
purchasing and over-seeing branch offices
-Responsible for sales & marketing, financial controls and profit orientations
-Increased gross sales by 44% in the first 2 years as manager
-Increased employee workforce from 2 to 25 in the first 5 years
-Successfully opened 3 satellite offices in the first 7 years
-Performed extensive work in interpretation of test results in all methods and codes applicable to NDT performance
-Effective work relationship with clients to determine correct inspection methods to be used for in-service inspections and to determine alternate inspection methods to substantiate or disprove doubtful findings with the primary inspection disciplines
-Chief radiographer designate for Shadow Inspection Services Ltd.
-Wrote and administered all technical inspection procedures for various examinations of components and materials
-Wrote and administered training guidelines and safety programs for in-house training.
-Evaluated results and evaluated acceptability of applicants for positions within the NDT department
-Wrote and administered all NDT manuals currently in use ( RT, MT, PT, UT )
-Workmanship monitoring of all Level 1 and 2 technicians within the NDT department
-Actively involved in all testing disciplines, as well as being contracted out to
numerous corporations to perform third party audits on various inspection firms
-Developed and administered ultrasonic “creeping wave” test procedures for the mining industry in our region
-Current & previous designated Level 3 appointments in RT, MT, PT, and UT for:

-Wrote and administered the current company Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Safety and Transportation of Dangerous Goods manuals
-Wrote the current ASME test procedures manual ( RT,UT,MT,PT)

-Wrote the current Safe Vessel Entry manual for ASME requirements

-NDT supervisor on 12 month aluminum oxygen separator project for BOC Gases
-Level 3 inspector for a new Alstom recovery boiler- 18 months
-Level 3 inspector for a new B&W Co-generation boiler- 14 months
-Extensive experience on turbines, generators, oil & gas pipelines,
refineries, compressor stations and boilers of all sizes
-Level 3 designate for numerous NDT companies in Lima, Peru, as well as ongoing
NDT/ASME consultations with various fabrication shops and industrial sector companies
throughout the country of Peru and South America
-24 month desert oil movement NDT contract in Libya and North Africa
-Senior Welding Inspector on BC Hydro 25MW Aberfeldie Re-development project
