working on a Rolls Royce project for the refit of Nuclear Submarines at DML in Plymouth.
This project, completed in 2003 was started in 1997 Vendor supplied Instrumentation costs alone in excess of £3,000,000. Over 400 primary elements (not including valves) & 6900 PLC I/O.
I was solely responsible for the development, maintenance and upgrade of the Process instrument database using Microsoft Access. Whilst on this project I was also responsible for the purchase of a number of mass flow meters, creating data sheets, reqs, technical appraisals and purchase orders.
I attended meetings with the client and instrument vendors and was also responsible for the processing of vendor documentation.

I was involved in the construction of the instrument database for a new tissue paper plant in Italy. This was generated on microsoft Access.
Oct 1998 – 2000 at Ely Lilly pharmaceuticals in Speke (contracted through Jacobs).

I was responsible for seeing through to completion, (also including full client training) 4 water treatment projects for Northumbrian and Severn trent water. These were chlorine residual control units and a new plant, dosing carbon powder into untreated river water. This last system was controlled by an Allen Bradley PLC. A significant part of my time was spent commissioning.
