In 2005 Electra Systems relocated to Wales, It was around this time I decided to work on a freelance basis, which I have done for the past 4 years. I am now looking to further my career and would like to move it into the offshore industry. I am looking for a career not a job with a company that believes in investing for the future with the development of their employees.

Position: Workshop Manager/Tester

Throughout my time I gained wiring experience of Trend IQ21x, IQ22x, IQ231x, IQ241, IQ251, and IQ3. After qualifying and gaining more experience I went on to train several of my own apprentices and take charge of the day to day running of the workshop which included, stock check/re-ordering, supervising the efficiency of the small workforce of five people to ensure the smooth running of production and the testing of all products after manufacture. In my eight years working for Electra systems the type of work was based around bms, machine tool, and process plant control panel manufacture and site installation of boiler rooms wiring to lighting, pumps, motors, boilers, temp sensors, DP switches, pilz safety circuits etc in schools, hospitals offices and the like, with the use of conduits, trunking, cable tray, MICC pyro, swa, data cable.
