I am keen to pursue my career in the oil and gas industry. I am a graduate who combined studies with working and other commitments. In achieving this, I have shown myself to be self-motivated, committed and determined in achieving my goals, come what may. I have also demonstrated negotiating and organizing skills, a firm sense of responsibility and my capacity to work hard under pressure. I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and am able to relate to a wide range of people. My main career objective is to gain enough experience in all levels of the drilling industry to be competent to work as a driller and further supervisory positions in the future.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I have worked with Noble drilling corporation for the last three years as a trainee driller where i have been up through the ranks from roustabout and I am currently in the derrickmans position studying for well control which I will attend soon hopefully.As a trainee with Noble I was assigned various projects for improvements on the rigs I have worked for. Amongst them are new drain systems for the rig floor, new drill collar racking platform, new diverter running tool design, setting up of the new sack slitter and procon mixing system etc.

I got my education from De La Salle College in Malta and later went on to the University of Malta. Both of these educational institutions are accredited by all major UK Universities. I finished a bachelors Mechanical engineering degree with honours. Apart from that I also did an electricians course and obtained a license to be able to carry installations. I also completed all courses as required by IADC up to derrickman and i am currently studying for surface Well control drillers level.

I have successfully undertaken various team projects within both academic and non-academic environments.

My degree course greatly enhanced my written and verbal communication skills due to the many presentations, assignments, posters, essays and projects required.
I am keen to develop my understanding and acquire new skills through employment.
I have the ability to problem solve, tested with continuous problem solving exercises given as assessments, which may require mathematical analysis and evaluation.

I am an easy going person but tend to be a perfectionist in whatever I do. I am a born leader in any team I am, however I listen to other people but generally has the last say.
My all-time hobby is reading, shooting, snorkelling and partying. However when my studies and work permit, I travel, having been to the UK, Italy, Denmark, France, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Germany, Holland, Bulgaria, Luxemburg, Portugal, Budapest, and finally Thailand.
Apart from that I am also interested in off-road quad biking.
