Reporting directly to the Electrical & Instrumentation Foreman, accountable for the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring permits, tools, materials, equipment, worksite preparation, and all supporting documentation, are in place in accordance with maintenance schedules.
Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with Shell, parent company and industry standard policies and procedures.
Carrying out repair, routine and preventative maintenance on Merlin Gerin/GEC HV/LV, Lawrence Scott switch gear. Transformers HV/LV current injection, protection testing systems, UPS systems, battery systems, chargers, inverters, lighting systems, various motor overhauls, heating and ventilation plc systems, crane and winch, various fire & Gas systems. Carry out emergency response duties as required.
Performing Authority within integrated safe systems of work, creating and organising work permits according to work packs. Construction, maintenance, HV jointing and termination. Testing, commissioning, fire and gas detection systems, HVAC systems, power and lighting systems. SRC wiring and fault diagnosis. Termination of single and three phase motors.
