For the past 6 years I have worked in mining and construction in Perth, Wiluna and Golden Grove. I have been employed as a qualified Crane Driver (C6, CN, CV, and C2), Dogman, Leading-Hand Rigger, and Scaffolder. I have my OPITO certified T-BOSIET ticket.

I am highly motivated, team orientated and able to work under pressure. Attached is my CV detailing my relevant details and a history of the different work experiences I have undertaken. I have developed a knowledgeable understanding of the mining and construction industries and am looking to further my career now within the oil and gas industry.

Perth Rigging

High Rise Construction including:
• Site plan analysis and manpower distribution
• Dogging the tower cranes and mobile cranes on site
• Installing Delta-Core panels
• Large scale steel erection
• Reading and managing complex steel and panel erection plans
• Liaising with sub-contractors to complete work
• Driving mobile cranes on site
• Erection and removal of tower scaffolds, free standing modular scaffold and barrier protection on site

Nickel, Gold and precious metals mine site:
• All Rigging work throughout the plant.
• Driving and maintaining a 50T Tadano and 20T Terex Franna.
• Trades assistant to boilermakers and fitters assisting in the fabrication of guards, handrails and pipe work, rebuilding of pumps and gearboxes, replacement of roller bearings and replacement of discharge pipes.

Agincourt Resources – Wiluna

Gold mine maintenance including:
• All Rigging work throughout the plant working with a 10T BHB, a 50T Tadano, a 35T Kobelco, and overhead gantry cranes, lifting equipment varying from pumps, engines, agitators, screens, and mill rods, and even a rolled semi-trailer
• Driving a 10 tonne BHB, a 50T Tadano, and a 35T Kobelco crane involved with many different challenging lifts, including shutdown work, pump replacements and services, local work in the town of Wiluna and any incidents that arise.
• Driving a Manitou forklift including man-cage work
• Working with boilermakers, fitters, electricians and mechanics to complete tasks including rubber lining, structural steel reports, fixing of pumps and agitators and repairing structural faults
• Servicing compressors and diesel generators
• Pit-Dewatering, comprising of managing and maintaining the piping systems that run potable and non-potable water to the plant and camp, and running tailings and underground water to evaporation ponds and open pits
• Keeping all pumps, agitators and screens greased, reporting and helping in removal of faulty bearings and rollers
• Tyre-fitting and repairs for all site vehicles including cars, bobcats, forklifts and cranes

I was also a senior member of the Emergency Response Team, doubling as the S.E.S team for Wiluna and surrounding regional areas. I have been trained in Ropes Rescue, Underground Orienteering, Team Skills, Search and Rescue, Fire Fighting (Diesel, Hazchem and Gas), Vehicle Extraction, Closed and Open-Circuit Breathing Apparatus (BG4 and PA90), and First Aid.
