 Responsible for the overall management of the operation of a fleet of the Majestic America Line, overnight passenger riverboats.
 Including Nautical, Technical, Safety and Quality, Hotel Operations and Guest Services.
 Direct reports included the Directors of Technical, Nautical and Hotel Operations.
 Directed the implementation and administration of a new safety management system and promoted a culture of safety onboard with vessel and office staff that resulted in successful operations with no mechanical or operational casualties.
 Established and managed the fleet 2008 budget of $50M, ending the year $5M under budget.
 Planned and administrated the development and implementation of the vessel repair and modification financial tracking system, project specifications and schedules, resulting in all planned vessel repairs and modifications being completed on time and in budget.

 Responsible for the Technical Operations of eight vessels.
 Created an effective and streamlined operation, establishing an environment of teamwork between departments, with a heavy emphasize on safety and quality.
 Managed repair and maintenance budgets as well as long range budget forecasts amounting to $25M per year.

 Successfully managed all major interior renovation projects for Holland America Line and Carnival Cruise Lines.
 Designed a budget model for more accurate prediction of project costs.
 Increased productivity of the field installation team and reduced overall costs.

 Based on a one-year contract agreement, developed repair and maintenance budgets and long range budget forecasts for the M/S Ryndam, Statendam and M/S Maasdam.
