Project Engineer.
I am confidently managing the whole project as a Project Engineer / Project Manager (In charge) and coordinating with the SEC-SOA project Management department. Throughout the project, I have been involved in all phases (Engineering, Design, Procurement and Execution).
I am also supervising and managing the Tele Communication / SCADA Portion of the project very confidently.
Project Over view
Construction of new building for 33/ 13.8kV Substation.
Construction of complete Civil Structures, Transformer’s Foundations, duct banks and out yard areas.
Laying of Grounding Mash for the Substation.
Installation of 3 No’s 20 MVA Power Transformers
Laying and Terminations of 630sq mm XLPE Cables.
Installation of 33 kV (SIEMENS 8DA10) and 13.8kV (NXPLUS -C) GIS switchgears.
Installation of ABB’s RTU-560 SCADA System.
Installation of digital Power line carrier (DPLC) ABB’s ETL- 600 .
Installation of SOE.
Installation of DFR.
Installation of Control metering and relay panels.
Installation of HAVC System.
Installation of Fire Alarm and protection system
Modification in Communication and SCADA system at existing 132/33 kV feeding substation.
Installation of Outdoor Coupling Equipments (Line Trap, Coupling Capacitor and Line Matching units) at both ends.
Installation of DC System battery chargers and Battery Banks.
Responsibilities
I am managing the project and coordinating with Suppliers, vendors and Manufacturers to procure the Materials as per Client (SEC-SOA’s) Standards.
Being a Project Engineer / Project Manager (In charge) my key responsibilities are depicted as follows
Manage and coordinate the activities of the Project Department.
Manage budget and cost of all activities.
Manage, review and monitor all the activities related to planning, Design, Engineering. Procurement, sub-contracting and construction.
Coordinate with concerned SEC-SOA’s Engineering and Design Departments and Design Consultant for the approval of Design..
Coordinate and follow up with Suppliers, Vendors and manufacturers for the procurement of Material and equipments according to SEC-SOA standards and specifications.
Coordinate with QC department for the approval of material and equipment.
Monitoring the progress of the project.
Allocation of Man Power as per quantum of work.
Ensure the Project quality as per SEC standards.
Ensure to implement the SEC-SOA & company procedures in all activities.
Coordination with Different Divisions for the Inspections of work i.e. PQUs & TAPD / TSPD
Arrangement of Material.
Preparation of Daily Progress Report and its submission to PMD Engineer at Site.
Preparation of Bi weekly report and its submission to SEC Project management Department.
Supervision at Site for the Execution of the Work including Testing & Commissioning.

I have been efficiently performing my responsibilities as a site manger; I was physically involved t in this project. I have been coordinating with Client (SEC-SOA) and Engineering & Design Consultant from the beginning stage of the project.
Project Over view
Modifications of Civil structure for Transformer foundations, power cable trenches and fire wall construction and switchgear foundations.
Laying and extension of grounding mash in substation yard.
Laying and Termination of 630sq mm XLPE Cables.
Installation of 2 no’s New 20 MVA Transformer’s erection, installation and testing/ commissioning.
Installation, testing and commissioning of 13.8 kV and 33 kV switchgears.
