As Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy light industrial machines & equipment such as machine heads gearboxes cams and pumps etc.
· Install major components such as gears; pumps; motors or hydraulic assembles
· Assemble fit and install prefabricated parts to form sub assemblies or finish products using hand and power tools
· Check mechanical assemblies and sub assemblies for alignment and proper functioning
· Assemble and fit metal and other pre-fabricated parts to close tolerance
· According to blueprints to build mechanical equipments

OPERATION

· Operate or tend automated assembling equipment such as fixed automation equipments
· Optimize performance of production and assembly operations to achieve company
· Optimize performance of production and assembly operations to achieve company goals in quality ,delivery and cost through applications of company’s philosophy and effective implementation of the business to concepts in cellular production, one-piece-flow, standard work in just time delivery
· Perform manufacturing process and methods design tool and fixtures development, work measurement and documentation, quality materials and equipment for maximum efficiency in space. Requirement and work flow
· Confer with management, engineering staff, cell leaders and operator concerning product design and processing requirement to ensure effective and efficient world class production methods, are developed, standardized and maintained
· Consult with vendors to determine product specification and depositions acceptability of equipment, material or parts according to quality standard and procedures

INSPECTION

· Inspect parts, subassemblies and finished products to ensure quality and reliability
· Check subassemblies and finished product for proper quality
· Perform basic test for vacuum pumps
· Check subassemblies and inspect finished product for proper quality
· Marinating mechanical works
· Installing commissioning
· Preventing maintenance in lighting factories
· Maintain efficiency up to the budget level
· Spare ordering of all GLS&TL and imported local under budget
· Responsible to implement, supervise and maintain the preventive maintenance program of both GLS&TL factory
· Carryout the lamp factory machine maintenance under budget or up the budget
· Work with production staff in minimizing incidence of machine downtime
· Assign daily maintenance job to working staff
· Ensure the availability of tools, jigs and fixtures and other accessories requested for conducting maintenance work
· Study individual machine performances to determine the needs for parts replacement
· Monitor the quality of all maintenance jobs executed

MAINTENANCE

· Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect head and
· Jigs CAMs and shaft
· Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting and equipment or other fastening and joining techniques
· Perform minor adjustments and repairs
· Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments such as production and electrical services include (supplies and process quality)
· Requisition materials and supplies
· Resolve work problem and recommends works measure to improve productivity
· Train or arrange for training of workers
· Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities if related apprentices, helpers and labors
· Repair worn parts of metals product by welding on extra layers such as CAMs and levers profile
· Maintenance of different types of pressure gauges and regulator solenoid valve
· Gas filling and vacuum systems, dividing plates, rotary and centrifugal pumps
· Pneumatics cylinders, two way valves
· Operate manual or semi automatic flame-cutting equipment
· Operate brazing and soldering equipment
· Operate previously setup machines such as spot, gas and arc welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
· Operate brazing and soldering equipment to bond metal parts or to fill holes, indentation and seems of metal articles with arc welding

· Installation and commissioning of new Luster plant up to the successful production
· Speed increase projects of GLS & TL factories using modifications of:
Ø 90es CAM
Ø 120es CAM
Ø Indexing rollers
Ø Coordination with electrical department for using S7 PLC
Ø Rescheduling of electro pneumatic valves
Ø Rescheduling of driver and driven pulley
