Stationary Equipment Engineer

Dear Mr. /Ms.:

I have spent two successful years in the field of oil and gas engineering, sharpening my skills in design of stationary equipments in Sazeh Consultant and Construction Co. (highly prestigious oil and gas EPC contractors in Iran). As you can find in my attached resume, I have worked hardly and effectively in stationary equipment department where I did the most complex designs of pressure vessels. For example, I was first person in Sazeh Co. that designed some equipment according to BS5500 code in south pars phases 15-16 project. I was responsible for most stress analysis problems according to ASME SEC VII. Div. I & II.

Now, I am a PhD student in USA, but I don't want to pursue my graduate study and I am eager to combine my skills and experiences in oil and gas fields. I hope I can pursue my favorite work in your prestigious company. I think I can learn more than before in your company.

As an EPC contractor, Sazeh is involved in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Oil and Gas industries both onshore and offshore as well as industrial plants.


PROJECTS INVOLVED
South Pars-Phases 15&16
• Project assistant lead engineer. Assisting lead engineer to lead the equipment team and meet the project targets and time schedule.
• Detail design and generating of engineering drawing for pressure vessels, drums, Columns, Towers, Reactors, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers.
• Vendor bid evaluation and purchase order preparation.
• Cooperating with two additional joint venture to achieve high performance in project completion.
• Interacting with engineers of other departments such as piping, process, civil, structure, instrument and control project departments to meet the time schedule and project phase’s targets on time.
• Vendor document review
• Attend to several meetings with vendors to clarify the vague points in vendor bids. Responsible for liaising with other engineering disciplines.
• Document review of licensor’s plant such as Prosernat.
• First detail design of pressure vessels according to PD5500 code in stationary equipment department of Sazeh Co.

Shazand Arak Refinery (Expansion & Upgrading), € 2.7 billion
• Detail design and vendor document review of pressure vessels, Drums, Columns, Towers, Reactors.
• Full stress analysis of spherical tanks in various load combinations by finite element methods
• Belleli Reactor documents review and study a satisfactory design and FEM analysis of Cr-Mo reactor weighting more than 1300 ton, according to applicable codes such as ASME Sec. VIII, code case 2286.



Hormoz Extra Heavy Crude Oil Refinery Project, € 4.3 billion
• Preliminary mechanical design of pressure vessels, drums, Columns, Towers and Reactors.
