I spend the last six months off last year working in Norway with Aker electro.During this time iwas a 19 on 9 off rotation.I was promoted to the position of chargehand after the first trip looking after a crew of 15 lads while working on the tools myself i became very fimiliar with working from job packs reading and interperting drawings and just the general way things work over in Norway.Prior to Norway i workedin Canada as an electrician general installation work rack rico cable pulling glanding etc.I have recently just compleated an upskill course in instrumentation(process measure and control) its a fetac level 5 accreditation. Will i was working in the pharma.industry serving my time and after i worked with alot of instruments and alongside technicians although not time served i would consider my self a competent instrument tech.I am waiting on my cert to come through but can get proof of passing said course on request

Working on the new build next genaration H6e drilling rig in stord Norway both alpha and beta rigs, looking after a crew of 15 men as well as working on the tools myself woking long hours on a 19 on, 9 off rotation. Feb 2008- June 2008 Electrician
I worked in the oil sands in Alberta Canada with Sitie Canada as journeyman electrian.We are working on the horizan oil sands project phase one installation.

I was employed in Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals, Ringaskiddy doing general maintenance works and new contract installations. Working on contract installations to budgets and deadlines from installation to commissioning stage.

As part of a team I was responsible for setting up stage electrics, rigging lights for in house productions and general maintenance. I also travelled with a national tour of a Cork Opera House production as Chief Lighting Technician working in various theatres around Ireland, liaising with in house production teams and delegating work loads.
