Please find enclosed a copy of my Curriculum Vitae, showing details of my employment history.

I initially worked as a time-served, fully qualified Plater for many years, and have gained valuable experience in various projects onshore and offshore before progressing to my present position as Structural Supervisor/Coordinator.

As detailed in my work history, I have worked on all major fabrication projects:- Topsides, Jackets, Skids, Well-Head Platforms, Sub-Sea Templates and Pressure Vessels for such clients as SHELL, TOTAL, WINTERSHALL, McDERMOTT’s AMERADA HESS and RUMIC ,Talisman etc .

I have extensive supervisory experience of directing and motivating a multi-discipline workforce, interfacing with engineers and subcontractors, planning work-loads and man hours etc and co-ordinating technical support to ensure all parties understand their scope and actions to achieve optimum productivity levels within agreed schedules and timescales.

I am fully conversant with all current construction practices, techniques and equipment. I am widely experienced on procedures, ASME Codes, TPI’s and documentation, fabrication and erection of small and large bore pipe work of carbon steel, stainless, cunifer, alloy 28, duplex etc. Also inspection and hydrostatic testing of pipe work systems to final handover. I also have an extensive working knowledge of weld procedures.

I have experience of on-site erection of towers, columns, vessels and tanks, and have covered all nature of installation, i.e. Petrochem, Offshore, Steel Production and Plant, Power Stations (nuclear, coal fired and gas turbined) etc.

I am fully cognizant of Safety/Permit Procedures for live plant procedures, (Zone 2), i.e. Oil Platforms, Live Plant, Permits to Work etc.

Very experienced and hardworking, last position Structural Supervisor on the Tweedsmuir Subsea Project, Piper Alpha Platform,covered most types of construction work including high integtity fabrications for James Fisher Rumic (UK SUBMARINE RESCUE TEAM)working as a Construction Team Leader giving me great experince in working in a high pressure enviroment and reaching deadlines and working as a team member.

BTEC ONC DIPLOMA (1985) HNC equivalent now, ISSOW permit to work system, CITB SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT COURSE (SMTD) B.O.S.I.E.T offshore survival , Confined Space , Working AT heights , Harness Training .
