I am Oil & Gas/Petrochemical based and have experience in the Power & Nuclear industries, specialising in the construction and inspection works in the Piping and Mechanical disciplines, working to European and American standards.
•PDMS - 3D 11.2-11.6 Piping and Equipment.
•AutoCAD 2007, 6, & 4, 2000i & LT, 2D & 3D etc. (Very strong in 3D)
•Production of paperwork such as Risk Assessments, Residual Risks, Outlined Installation Method Statements, Quality plans, Basis of design documents etc.,
•Microsoft Word Excel and Word.
•Attending Technical meetings with clients on all piping/mechanical issues and liaison with other departments.
•Working in accordance with client’s standards and specifications and document control.
•Piping, Structural and Mechanical Draughting & Design.
•Review and update technical drawings for the installations and ensure conformity of the as-built status with the design and technical requirement as required by the scope of work, basis of design, and process P & ID’s is designed, and detailed to be safe and fit for purpose in compliance with Codes of Practice such as ASME B31.3.
•Site surveying of existing facilities to establish and identify the actual requirements.
•Knowledge of international Code and standards in Piping/Mechanical fields and general knowledge of other disciplines.
•Management of running design/draughtsman teams within budgets and time scales.
•Checking drawings/ Bill of Materials.
