Ballasted down / De-ballasted rig to / from Survival or Transit Drafts for Tow from Australia to Johor, Malaysia shipyard. Then on station off Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

Jan 2008 - Aug 2008 BCO on Aban Pearl. Ballasted down / De-ballasted rig to / from Survival or Transit Drafts for Tow from Accra, Ghana, to Singapore shipyard. Left rig at Durban, S.Africa.

Sept 2007 - Dec 2007 BCO - Relief BCO on GSF Grand Banks, offshore Newfoundland, Canada. Normal duties, as below.

June 2007 - July 2007 BCO - Relief BCO on Kan Tan IV, offshore Trinidad. Normal duties, as below.

Feb 2007 - April 2007 BCO (UKCS)- Relief BCO on GSF Arctic II: normal duties, as below.

Oct 2006 - Jan 2007 BCO (Invergordon, Scotland - to- Pasagoula Shipyard, MS USA on 'Frontier Driller'. Made ready vessel for sea ('Dead Ship'). Produced rig Stability Program for Frontier Drilling / inspection by DnV, prior to departure for transatlantic tow. Then supervised the tow of rig (from Tugboat) & boarded rig mid-voyage for inspection & ballast water changeout.

Dec 2005 – May 2006 BCO (Invergordon Shipyard / offshore on “Ocean Guardian”, UKCS)

Ballasted down / De-ballasted rig to / from Operational / Transit Drafts for Drilling or Tow phases. Normal BCO tasks, as below. Permit Controller / Auditer.

July 2005 - Oct 2005 BCO (offshore on 'Aleutian Key', W.Africa). Tow from Gabon to Equatorial Guinea with GSF, through C-Mar America Inc.

Ballasted down / De-ballasted rig to / from Operational or Transit Drafts for Drilling or Tow phases. Normal BCO tasks, as below.

July 2004 - July 2005 Computer Technician at St.Lukes & The Royal Infirmary , IT Department, Bradford.

Nov’03- Jan‘04 BCO offshore on 'Scarabeo 6' in Egypt with Saipem.

Supervised Tow operation from Brest, France, to Alexandria, Egypt. Ballasted down / De-ballasted rig to / from Operational or Transit Drafts for Drilling or Tow phases. Maintained floating exploration vessel at level trim & list, according to operational drilling conditions. Updated logs of condition, activity & operations. Compiled daily Stability & Morning Reports.

July '95 - March ‘03 BCO (offshore on 'Ocean Liberator' in W.Africa & “Glomar Arctic IV”, “Borgsten Dolphin” & “Transocean Discoverer” in the N.Sea, & “Borgny Dolphin” in the Falkland Islands, 'Stena Dee', West of Shetland) through agencies in Aberdeen.

General BCO duties plus assisted running anchor winches during Rig moves & skids. Acted as Assistant Coxswain during weekly Lifeboat drills & briefed evacuees about Abandonment procedure. Administered Rig Safety 'S.T.O.P.' Card' System.
