Dear sir/Madame.

I have extensive knowledge in all types of scaffolding ranging from tube and fittings, and all types of system scaffolds through out the uk &Europe, I have worked on a variety of contracts ranging from petrochemical plants for British petroleum at solum voe (Shetlands) and b.a.s.f.in Germany. To magnox nuclear power station in angelsie north Wales from there to ship building at swan hunters yard on the river Tyne to rig building in England and Scotland these include ekophisk, Etap, Elgin Franklin. Global producer 3,and bonga F.P.S.O all of which have all been multimillion pound projects, on these projects I have hulled prominent positions from team leader to Forman supervising Nigerian local labour, Philippine scaffolders and uk scaffolders, the knollage I have acquired through out my career has allowed me to advance in the field of scaffolding and because of my technical knoll age I can put it to good use. To back up this knollage I have completed a number of courses such as advanced scaffolding G.N.V.Q level 3, advanced scaffold inspection, I.O.S.H safety management, and Pan European offshore survival plus others, I have worked on many offshore installations for many offshore companies namely cape industrial services, rigblast and salamis north south divisions intern the major contractors include amec, BHP, Moble& Shell, and total. Currently I am Offshore for BIS Salamis contracted to Shell as Forman scaffolder on the caravel/shamrock project, however I am looking to expand and take on a more supervisory role and put my abilities to good use and possibly pass on the information and experience that I posses in this field, I can communicate well with large groups of people and believe in promoting a good safety culture because safety is essential I believe that I can make a difference after completing a safety course I.O.S.H (institute of occupational health and safety)this enabled me to take part as a member of the ring fence safety team actively working along side the HSE department at the wallsend amec yard whilst building the top side modules on the bonga project. As a team member I actively encouraged safety by going out on to the work site and talking to the work force pointing out the benefits of working safely, encouraging feed back plus razzing a talking point and amore safety awareness within the group, I have recently completed an advanced scaffold safety inspection course to add the to the many certificates that I have, this allows me to insect all aspects of scaffolding.

Responsible for the erection and dismantle of all scaffolding requirements on a working production platforms (Douglas Platform – Liverpool Bay leman alfa upgrade, all shell platforms in southern sector sole pit clipper, currently on decom on inde project.
