WORK EXPERIENCE
Materials Controller – Contract – Monadelphous Engineering 6/10/08 - Current
Monadelphous, is a leading ASX-listed engineering business in Australia with interests in a number of major projects throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Received goods
Stock takes, inventory audits, forecasting
Liaised with site personnel - relationship building
Liaised with the client on supply of equipment
Processed documentation - delivery of goods
Forklift operation – picked, packed freight, palletised
Loaded/unloaded trucks - checked documentation
Expediting of steel to site
Supervisor role managing a team of 5 personnel
Key Achievements:
Setup of the storage yard which held approximately 800 tonne of steel throughout the job.
Put forward recommendations on the structure and setup of steel yards and how they should be run.
Purchasing Officer – Contract – APA Group 4/8/08 - 26/9/08

Australian Army – Sub Unit Logistics Manager July 2002 - June 2008
Six years experience, at three different locations, in supply and logistics.
Led and managed supply teams of up to 10 personnel, depending on locations and work demands. Duties and responsibilities were essentially the same at each location, except that I dealt with different inventory;
RAAF Base Amberley Queensland - Ammunition, food, general consumables and vehicle parts;
Campbell Barracks in Western Australia - IT and electronic equipment to internal clients;
Robertson Barracks in Northern Territory - Large heavy equipment such as tanks and military vehicles
Key Responsibilities:
Handled and managed inventories within the local area
Conducted scheduled and random stock checks of inventories in order to fully and accurately account for Department of Defence equipment
Allocated tasks to team members and supervised their work performance
Liaised with Defence Inventory Managers in various locations in order to facilitate and expedite supply and the return of damaged equipment
Supervised the packaging and return of unserviceable equipment to main supply points within Defence
Procurement of equipment, parts and consumables (whilst posted to Campbell Barracks)
Liaised with customers to identify and meet their needs
Quarterly forecasting of inventory levels required to meet customers’ requirements
Supervised the maintenance of the Standard Defence Supply System (SDSS)

Assisted in the changeover of a fleet of 80 armoured vehicles & associated equipment from Darwin to South Australia
Only 8 vehicles at a time could be relocated as unit on standby for overseas operations – project cost $2M per vehicle
Received military commendation for my work on the project
Key Achievements - Campbell Barracks in Western Australia
Posted to the Special Air Service Regiment - assisted in the purchase of A$150K of electrical equipment to refit the camp in Afghanistan, palletised 30 pallet loads of equipment to be sent via cargo plane
Key Achievement – Roberts Barracks, Northern Territory
Involved in first movement of vehicles and personnel to Iraq
Involved in the selection of 6 vehicles to be loaded onto Russian transport planes – process took twenty four hours to complete the project
Successfully processed paperwork for customs clearance to ensure the three plane loads could get to Baghdad with minimum unloading fuss
