1. Carry out all related coating inspection
2. Understand and follow coating specification and procedures inspection.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Blasting Foreman

3. To ensure daily work activity is plan as per instruction from Supervisor.
4. Instruct blaster and prepare for necessary blasting operation.
5. Fill up necessary time card as per job no and project details.
6. Ensure that necessary grit material is available and being prepared for next blasting operation at site or in shop.
7. Ensure that all the equipment and related items are in well working conditions and are safe to use prior starting of any operation.
8. Conduct crew briefing about work instruction and job safety prior to start of shift / operation.
9. Fill up necessary hit card.
10. Ensure that work areas are released for blasting operation and necessary release being issued by relevant parties.
11. Ensure that necessary areas near the blasting operation are being protected and being cordon off using necessary signage as approved.
12. Ensure that proper house keeping done prior to each shift/operation with proper disposal of girt and other waste.
13. Coordinate with painting foreman for any delays or any other issues affecting painting.
14. Check the blasting surface and do necessary first line inspection prior release for inspection to relevant authority.
15. Instruct remedial work if the results are found not satisfactory.
16. Inform Supervisor in case of any safety or progress issue.


Painting Foreman

1. To ensure daily work activity is plan as per instruction from Supervisor.
2. Instruct painter and prepare for necessary painting operation.
3. Fill up necessary time card as per the job no and project details.
4. Ensure that necessary paint material is available and being prepared for next painting operation at site or in shop.
5. Ensure that proper mixing of the paint material done prior starting of application.
6. Ensure that all the equipment and related items are in well working conditions and are safe to use prior starting of any operation.
7. Conduct crew briefing about work instruction and job safety prior to start of shift I operation.
8. Fill up necessary hit card.
9. Ensure that work areas are released for painting operation and necessary release being issued by relevant parties.
10. Ensure that necessary areas near the painting operation are being protected and being cordon off using necessary signage as approved.
11. Ensure that proper house keeping done prior to each shift/operation with proper disposal of paint waste.
12. Coordinate with blasting foreman for any delays or any other issues affecting painting.
13. Check and perform first line inspection after each coating operation and ensure that proper specific required thickness is followed.
14. Consult Painting Supervisor in case of any safety or progress issues.

4. Follow the foreman instruction on various method statements and other specific requirements.
5. Carry out blasting of items to the required standard as instructed.
6. Highlight to foreman or other higher authority in terms of any safety concern.


Applicators – Painters

Who carried out actual painting operation

1. Ensure that proper PPE is worn prior to start any painting operation.
2. Ensure that the items or parts to be painted are secure properly or placed in proper position.
3. Recheck all the hoses and painting equipment prior any actual painting work.
4. Follow the foreman instruction on various method statements and other specific requirements.
5. Carry out painting of items to the required paint coat in terms of primer intermediate etc. as instructed.
6. Highlight to foreman or other higher authority in terms of any safety concern.
7. Ensure that all painting equipment hoses are cleaned after application.
8. Ensure that no spillage of material and in case of spillage ensure to have proper protection and content.
