Details of experience
From 1990 to 1993 : Worked with M/s Applied Corrosion Technology, as a Painting Foreman
(1) Carried out complete corrosion treatment of eight Nos. Five million Gallon Oil Storage Tanks, Over Head crane, Desalination Plants Structures, Chimneys for DEWA.
(2) Carried out complete anti corrosion treatment of two cargo shipment for ETA, Offshore Oil Rig for ARAMCO, Saudi Arabia.
(3) Carried out interior and exterior anti – corrosion treatment of aviation fuel storage tanks for British Petroleum, Caltex and EGPC.
From 1994 to 1998 : Worked with M/s Ahmed Mansoor Al-A’Ali B.S.C ©, Structural and Mechanical Division, Bahrain as a Painting Supervisor.
The various projects successfully carried out are given below;

(1) Complete painting work of 2 Nos. Water Storage Tanks for ministry of Works, Power and Water at Sitra, DFS Bahrain [Five Million Gallon Capacity)

(2) Corrosion treatment for Five Numbers of Ground Storage Tanks for Water Transmission Directorate Bahrain.

(3) Internal maintenance work of two elevated water storage Tanks at Sanabis and Musalla Blending station.
(4) Complete anti corrosion treatment for south Alba Sewerage Treatment Plant.

(5) Complete panting work of 1800 tones of Steel structure for Aluminium Bahrain Pot Rooms 5 & 6 expansion.
(6) Anti corrosion protection of piping equipment structures, pipe rack, galleries etc. for GULF PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES COMPANY UREA PROJECT with the main contractor MITSUBHISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES
(7) Anti corrosion protection painting of piping, structures and two numbers of 1.5 million gallon tanks for ALUMINIUM BAHRAIN at Marine Terminal.

From 1998 to 2003 : Independent painting, small contract work.
From 2003 to till date : Rejoined in Ahmed Mansoor Al-A’Ali B.S.C ©, Structural and Mechanical Division, Bahrain as a Painting Shop in charge. The various project works successfully carried out are given below.
(1) Anti corrosion protection of Equipment Structures, Pipe rack and Internal Fiberglass & Reinforced Glass Epoxy Tank Lining of 3 No tank etc., for Aluminium Bahrain with the main Contractor ALSTOM POWER. (Approximate 4200 tons)
(2) Complete panting work of 3800 tons steel for Aluminium Bahrain Line 5 expansion Green Anode plant with SOLIOS CARBON.
(3) Painting work of Structure Pipes and Ducts for Gas and Fume Treatment plant at Aluminium Bahrain pot line-5 Expansion Project with SOLIOS ENVIRONMENT. (Approximate 3200 tons.)
(4) Painting of 1500 sqmts duct for Pot de-lining dust collection system for Aluminium Bahrain.
(5) Complete heat resistant treatment of 11 numbers of Furnaces for Aluminium Bahrain with SOLIOS THERMAL.
(6) Painting of Anode stack crane with NKM NOELL.
(7) Painting of 3000 tons of steel structure for GIIC- GRINDING CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT Bahrain.
(8) Carried out painting work of small projects like Bahrain Financial Harbor’s moulds, Sign boards for GULF MEDIA INTERNATIONAL, Base plates for HIDD POWER STATION with SIDEM.
(9) Painting of 4100 tons of fabricated materials for QATAR NATIONAL CEMENT COMPANY with FCB.
[10) Complete Heat resistance protection of 6 numbers of Furnace and associate accessories for ICE LAND ALUMINIUM SMELTER.
(11) External Painting 11 nos Steam Transformers and associated pipe line for HIDD DIESALINATION PLANT (Approximate 3000 Square meter)
(12) Corrosion protection of fabricated structures for Refinery Gas Desulphurization Project.1100 tons.
(13) Blasting and painting works of steel structure for OMAN SMELTER (SOLIOS CARBONE). (Approximate 3500 tons.)
(14) Corrosion protection of fabricated structures for Gulf Steel Saudi Arabia. (Approximate 2000 tons).
(15) Approximate 5035 tons of fabricated structures for QATAR NATIONAL CEMENT COMPANY (Blasting and Priming only).
(16) Complete corrosion treatment of Air Receivers, Bin and Silo, Cyclone, Duct etc for GIIC PELLET PLANT NO 2 BAHRAIN with the main contractor KOBELCO (Approx 1700 tons).
(17) Anti corrosion protection of Portable Water tanks, Process Water tanks, Expansion vessel etc., for Qatalum Project with main contractor SNC LAVALIN INTERNATIONAL (Approx 2000 tons)
(18) Blasting and Painting of heavy steel structure for ARCAPITA BANK HEAD QUARTER, BAHRAIN. (4000 tons)
Major Running Projects :
o Anti corrosion protection of Structure building, Dry product Chutes, Ducts, Pipe lines, Water tanks etc., for Qatalum Project with main contractor SOLIOS CARBONE (Approx 4000 tons)
o Complete corrosion treatment of under ground pipe line (Size Dia 100 to 1800) using POLYUREA external and Solvent Free epoxy internal (Approximate 20,000 m²), 27 nos of different size of Surge Vessel (20m³ to 100m³) for Water Transmission Project Associated with Hidd Power and Water station phase III for Ministry of Electricity and Water Bahrain.

(1) Assessing the extend and depth of corrosion, deciding the type and quality of Epoxy and other corrosion material to be used.
[2] Determination of climatic conditions (relative humidity, dew point substrate temperature etc.)
[3] Testing and quality check of various surface like checking of blast profiles, wet film thickness, Ambient condition, Dry film thickness, Holiday detection, Adhesion test etc.

Educational Qualification : BGAS-CSWIP Certified Painting Inspector-Grade 2.
