1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Am currently working in the north sea on a multi-role vessel carrying out stand-by duties as well as hose work and interfield cargo duties. I am currently a Daughter Craft Coxswain as well as having the Advanced Medical Aider certificate which makes me very flexible in the duties i can carry out within the company.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Have been working in the industry since 1990 on various ships around the United Kingdom. Although i have been in this job a number of years there is always new skills to learn of which i am very quick to pick up and demonstrate. Have been part of Fast rescue Crews for a number of years and am highly skilled and experienced especially in the use of Jet Drives. Having Advanced Medical Aider status i am often involved in the training of the ships crew to keep all staff up to date with current first aid practice and procedures.

I finished high school at the age of 16 gaining 5 gcse in Maths English History Biology and humanities. I continued straight into the Merchant Navy and have stayed gaining various job relevant certificates up to Qualified Able Seaman. I completed 1 years officer of the watch training before leaving the course due to the fact it was distance learning and the course was in Scotland and i live in Stockport UK.

I feel competent in the use of computers and have been using Windows XP and associated programmes/spreadsheets for a number of years however have upgraded to Windows Vista which i will be self training with over the next few months.

Have various non qualified skills in general repairs and carpentry. Working with my family while on leave gaining experience in domestic electrical installations. Have gained vast experience of general ships maintenance over the years and have also used various kinds of ships machinery - cranes winches and windlasses.

I am keen to move further out of the stand-by industry and am willing to try any position to further my experience and knowledge. I would be grateful to be given a chance to prove my adaptability and keeness to learn and would grasp any opportunity head on with full commitment. Working in the stand-by industry for so long i have found it difficult to move to another ship type as find stand-by crew get a sort of blacklisting, i understand this as have sailed with some very unprofessional crews all i ask is don't judge us all the same and give me a chance.
