1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear Sir or Madam,
The Royal Air Force, currently employs me as an avionic/electrical technician. My role is to carry out preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification on many different electrically and hydraulically controlled systems and instruments on airframes, in all sorts of conditions and environments, around the world.
I have recently gained distinctions in both NEBOSH general certificate and NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate and also hold a Modern Apprenticeship in aeronautical engineering, which includes a NVQ 3 and BTEC.
I have an exemplary track record with my current employer, and assessments to back it up, which was the cause of my speedy advancement in rank. I have been a supervisor for the last 4 years.
I am due to leave the force end of April this year.
I would be grateful to hear of any instrument technician or production tech opportunities within your company, or trainee positions that you think may suit my attributes.
If there are any courses that you think I should get, I have been awarded a resettlement grant from the RAF that I would be happy to put towards said courses.
I am currently looking at gaining my off shore survival and IRATA lvl 1 rope courses.
