| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
Good Day!
My most recent responsibilities as a Fleet Quality Manager, with A.P. Moller Singapore Pte. Ltd., have given me a perfect launching pad to make the transition to land based management operations. In addition, I’ve had experiences at various dry-docks / new deliveries and a brief stint at Jurong Shipyard, Singapore. I feel that these qualifications, in combination with my extensive experience at sea, make me a strong candidate for a shore position .
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed good rapport with supervisors and subordinates in the workplace. Although I have enjoyed working at sea, I am now looking to settle ashore as a logical progression to my career. I am not averse to frequent travel or relocation. I am a diligent and energetic worker and have consistently received highest quality reviews from my employers. I have been fortunate to have employers that have adhered to the strictest international standards of vessel maintenance and safety. I am interested in working ashore confident that I can uphold and contribute to a company’s reputation for quality, safety and reliability.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or require any further information. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
