SITE DESCRIPTION:
Tiara Palm Dubai Hotel and Tiara Residences” is one of the prestigious 300,000,000.00 dirhams project in the Palm Jumeirah, owned by M/s Zabeel Investments, Dubai. The project consists of 7 towers of residences covering two basements, ground plus thirteen floors with spacious penthouse and 2 Hotel towers. Also, entire development will enjoy the amenities of Clubhouse, Swimming pool, Spa and Kiosk etc. Residences have total 644 luxurious flats with well equipped kitchen completely operated in electricity.
5 Star Hotel includes 296 bed rooms, 137 served hotel apartments and Club house with all facilities and amenities including Room management system and Building management system etc.
The company scope of work are mainly; Design, Installation, procurement, production, coordinated installation and commissioning of complete Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Drainage, Gas, Electrical and BMS services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administration of QA/QC department for the project assigned, “Tiara Palm Dubai Hotel and Tiara Residence”.
2. Ensure mechanical and electrical works are installed to meet the requirements of the Projects Technical Specification and Approved Construction Drawings.
3. Preparation of Mechanical and electrical Inspection Request as per the finished works done on site based on the required parameters as instructed by the Project Manager.
4. Carry out and follow up inspection to ensure Non-Conformances/Site Instructions are cleared.
5. Ensure materials incorporated in the mechanical and electrical Works are of an approved type.
6. Carry out regular inspections of the works and identify any non-conformances to the Construction manager and to the Project Manager.
7. Filing and inspections activities to be checked on sites.
8. Ensure proper filing of documents is implemented by document control and site administration.
9. Preparation of Method Statements and Checklist for testing and commissioning.
10. Monitor and checked to ensure all electrical and mechanical installation works undergo inspection and testing.
11. Preparation of forms and checklist demanded by clients and engineers.
12. Perform material delivery inspection internal and external.
13. Randomly checked and monitor materials on site.
14. Prepares the complete Operation and Maintenance manual of the project.
15. Makes sure that the Testing and Commissioning is done according to the approved method statement prepared.

DESIGNATION: Process Technician (Oil Movement and Storage area)
COMPANY BACKGROUND: Biggest petroleum refinery in the Philippines today.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Function:
As an OM&S Technician he is charged of safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities with crude receipts, preparation for crude feed and other feedstock to the Process Units, storage, transfer, blending and shipping of intermediate and finished products via pipeline, tankers and barges. He will also be responsible for efficient operation of the Waste Water Treating Facilities, Impounding Basin, Flare and Condensable Blowdown Facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• As an OM&S Technician, he maybe assigned as Field man or Control man in any of the major areas of Oil Movement & Storage Section.
• Corrects faulty operations and/or line-ups as he seen them. Reports immediately to his Supervisor those that need to be reported whether they are normal or emergency in nature.
• Keeps pumps, valves, gear boxes, and other rotating equipment properly lubricated.
• Draws sample from sampling points or from tanks whether they are routine shipping and/or special samples for laboratory analysis.
• Starts up, maintains, operates or shut down equipment in accordance with accepted ISO Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, sees to it that such operations are carried out efficiently and safely, and in no way endanger personnel or equipment.
• Adjusts equipment to change conditions of temperature, pressure, flow or combination of the aforementioned as directed.
• Prepares equipment for safe maintenance and turnaround according to established procedures.
• As a representative of the refinery on tankers calling at the CBM and SBM, he assists in berthing, gauging of product compartment, monitoring of vessel pumping rates and pressures, serves as communication link from the Refinery to the vessel and vice versa.
• Conducts gas tests as required for vessel entry or hot work.
• Fills up Tank Schedule, Pumping Reports, PVTS forms, STAGS, and other forms as required by job.
• Familiarizes and/or refreshes himself with the ISO Procedures Manual, Standing Orders, Standard Operating Procedure, and the Accident Prevention Manual.
• Monitor tanks level, especially receiving/blending tanks, to ensure no overflow occurs.
• Monitors Waste Water Treating Facilities operation and advises Process Units its significant amount of incoming oil noticed.
