I am a UK Health Professions Council registered Paramedic, with some 20 years experience as a Medic in the Oil, Gas and renewable energy industries.

Previous to which I have 4 years experience as a regular soldier working as a Combat Medical Technician (Class 1) in the Royal Army Medical Corps with additional years as an RAMC Combat Medical Technician in the Territorial Army.

In addition, prior to my military service, I trained for 2 years as a Nurse in the UK National Health Service.

I have worked primarily with the North Sea offshore sector, with some time spent in India and Spain, previous to which I have worked in the Falkland Islands and Kenya whilst serving in the RAMC.

Within the last year I have undertaken and passed the following emergency medical training courses:

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
Advanced Life Support
Pediatric Life Support

To improve my skills and knowledge I also undertake part time work with a private ambulance company providing medical cover to public and sporting events within the North East of England.

I have a full, clean, United Kingdom/European driving licence with experience of driving military and civilian vehicles both on & off road up to a weight of 4 tons. I have good map reading and navigation skills.
