My current position is Medic / Safety Officer on the vessel FPSO East Fortune in South East Asia. This contract ended at the end of March 2009 and thus I am now immediately available.
I have been very fortunate to be involved in the construction, pre-commissioning and DNV testing stages of this vessel and thus I have gained lots of experience. In this process I have worked with various contractors in the dock yard and on the vessel at sea, to ensure they comply with HSE policies and FPSO standards.
I have commissioned the hospital / medical response equipment and all the fire fighting, life saving devices as per the Fire and Safety Emergency Plan. I also completed all the checklist, maintenance records and documentation for DNV testing.
I have also implemented the health and safety management system from the beginning as per Wilhelmses (Ship Management) and Songas (Floating Production) requirements and policies.
I am a multi skilled individual with 12 year fire and rescue experience, 20 years emergency medical experience and 13 years experience in the health and safety field. I am a very practical minded person. I am an excellent team player that believes in communication, honesty and hard work.
I am a good leader, that can make fair, decisive decisions, and I can work and lead under pressure. I am also a person that can adapt to any environment or circumstance that I may find myself in.
I am a very fit and healthy individual with a positive attitude.
