I am submitting my resume in interest in the position of a Human Resources Representative with Oil Offshore Marine. I feel that I am qualified for this position through my post secondary education at Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behaviour and Industrial Relations along with my education at the Nova Scotia Community College with an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management which is accounted for two years of Human Resource Management experience.

During my educational experience with the Nova Scotia Community College, I have dealt with many aspects of human resources involving compensation, benefits, pensions and payroll, recruitment and selection, training and development, human resources auditing, occupational health and safety, and employee and labour relations, including knowledge of the Canada Labour Code, the Human Rights Act, and the Employment Equity Act. Also, I became quite knowledgeable with developing and implementing Human Resources policies and practices. A further detail of my accomplishments in the Human Resources is detailed in my resume. I also encompass a human resources portfolio binder that further details my accomplishments.

I am enthusiastic by this position as I feel that it will utilize my human resources and business administration skills and abilities. After reading the position description, I feel that I am the right fit for this job since I am a hard-working employee, am very goal-oriented with excellent analytical abilities, and am able to keep company records and employee files in a strict, confidential manner. I enjoy working with other employees in a team situation and am also able to work effectively as an individual and am able to get the job done in a timely fashion. I approach tasks with a positive attitude and encompass the ability to work on several different assignments simultaneously while paying close attention to detail. I am an effective communicator both orally and written and I am a quick learner and am able to build effective relationships with colleagues along with customers. I am quite skillful with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
