Major Areas of Responsibility

Worked with senior management to plan the operations events, and together with exploration, drilling and completion engineers and superintendents prepared for morocco drilling campaign (prepared full planning and list of materials/equipments and mobilization, procurement and tender evaluation & awarding of contracts for goods and services, logistics and HSE, manpower development). Executed all responsibilities as detailed in the operations’ plan in accordance with requirement and timing. Maintained coordination and direct contacts with all partners, contractors, regulatory authorities, etc.

• Set up the operations offices and bases, managed the material importation, procurement, logistics and the stock movement at the supply base/Helibase insuring that deliveries of equipment, material and goods to the drilling rig are done efficiently.
• Ensured appropriate procurement and tenders evaluations systems/procedures are in place, maintained and adhered to so that all support functions are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Trained and increased staff awareness about, HSE and SHOC (Safe Handling of Chemicals, Radioactive & Explosives) and ensured compliance with environmental and waste management policies and procedures.
• Balanced stock and transportation operations cost and inventory levels with service/material requirement in order to achieve synergies.
• Implemented spreadsheets and databases to strengthen analysis and processing tasks and created “SPoC” single point of contact with local authorities, Customs and suppliers to address situations requiring interaction beyond typical day-to-day business.
• Organized and issued required status and evidence based reports to management outlining performance vs. original projected schedules and objectives, presented detailed procurement and logistics survey summary to senior level management.
• Demobilization and customs cleared the imported/exported material.
• Prepared and submitted the end of well material and reconciliation report, well daily/final costing.
