Singapore Bus Service. During my time at SBS my duties included but were not limited to overhaul of engines, gearbox, electrical system and hydraulics systems for busses, Oil Tankers and Taxi’s. I was an apprentice for 3 years until I attained my NTC 2 certification and got promoted to a Mechanic. I was a Senior Mechanic before I left the company.

Auto Cycle Workshop is a fully functional workshop that targets mainly sports cars. Our focus is customizing, my duties included but were not limited to modify the engine, modifying/reinforce car electrical system, lowering suspension, installing turbochargers. My duties included liaising with the customer to make the modification a reality after examining the car. My other duties included teaching my subordinates in the form of Junior Mechanics and that I was responsible for taking the junior’s under my wing to develop their skills. Customer focus was something we took seriously and I always emphasized that to my junior mechanics. Customer satisfaction was on the top of our list so we always got constant referrals.
2004 – 2007 – Sting (Technical Manager)
Sting Pte Ltd is a company that sells lighting and sound equipment. I was made a great offer to manage lighting and sound for Sting. My duties included but were not limited to maintaining & installing sound, lighting in a large scale, running the system on 220 volts, jumper switches and DMX system (DMX is an intelligent protocol for lighting desks/sensors control to communicate with lighting equipment) I had a team of subordinates in the form of Light & Sound Technicians where I had to supervise installations made through schematics. Safety is taken seriously. I also designed safety and function checklists to make sure that everything was in order before submitting the finished product to our clients.
