Electrical working experience in Semi-Submersible, Drill ship, Jack up, Platform, Conventional Rig, and FPSO. The candidate has experience in shipyard works, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment associated with wellhead control panels, other emergency shutdown systems, pressure vessels, good level skilled diagnosis and repair of all types of electrical equipment, systems and devices.
Experience with materials requisitioning procedures, materials specification as well as in suggesting adequate stock levels for the various parts of equipment utilized in offshore installations. Knowledge in utilization of technical manuals, schematics, blueprints & as built drawings of the rig and all related equipment and manufacturers catalogs, IEE Wiring Regulations – BS7671, National Electrical Code (NEC), ANSI, ABS, IEEE & SOLAS Standards, I have a good knowledge of all electrical equipment commonly used in the oil drilling industry. Complete daily electricians’ reports, equipment maintenance reports, & preventative maintenance reports.
