In the plant there are equipments such as separator, turbines, compressors, pipe lines, instruments of pressure, temperature, flow, level, and some other controls, heat exchangers, process towers, separators, chillers, ovens, pumps, processing lines, etc.; In The Gulf Of Mexico I was working in the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and platform offshore. I was production supervisor, I was responsible to check the star procedure in the platform also I supervise the staff of the production department. December-2006- April 2008 Production supervisor in the construction of platform offshore. That will process 70.000 barrels of oil daily and 180 millions of cubic feet daily in the Gulf Paria in Venezuela. I am responsable to check the star procedure in the platform also I supervise the staff of the production department. April-2002- May-2006. Production Team Leader at the Dación West Plant of Camp Dación, where 65,000 barrels of oil are produced per day that are associated to 180 MM cubic feet of gas which is compressed at 1300 psi to be used as gas lift for artificial lifting; the treatment of the crude is controlled by a DCS distributed control system to obtain crude with less than 1% water at the exit to be sent to the LACT unit for measuring and delivery to PDVSA under specifications; operation of equipment such as Free Water Separator, Heater Treater, Settling Tank, Centrifugal Pumps, Crude Storage Tank, Formation Water Treatment System, Water Injection System, Reciprocating Compressors, Well Testing System.

BP. (British Petroleum). / Maturín - Venezuela
May 1999 – March 2002 Production Supervisor in charge of a crude and gas producing station that puts out 25 thousand barrels of crude and 60 million cubic feet of natural gas per day; responsible for the control and operation of five reciprocating compressors that handle 150 million cubic feet of gas and raise the pressure from 450 psi to 3,000 psi; handling and operating three high pressure compressors that inject gas to the underground at a pressure of 10,000 pounds; checking the operational parameters of electric power turbo generators; supervision of natural gas dehydrating system. Coordinator of the issuance and control of work permits to companies such as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Proyca, Precision Drilling, Inelectra.

August 1998 –March 1999 Gas Compression and Operations Specialist; Supervisor in the construction and start-up of the Guico compressing plant that comprised three White Superior compressors that drove Cooper compressors and gas transfer lines between the Guico compressing plant and Guara Oeste 1 processing plant; responsible for the major overhaul of a solar turbine that drove a centrifugal compressor for the injection of lift gas at Camp Guara.

February 1992 – May 1998 Supervisor on duty at cryogenic complex; participated in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the start-up of the Jose Complex, that comprised heat exchangers, process towers, separators, chillers, ovens, pumps, processing lines, etc.; operator of the TDC-3000 distributed control system at the Jose fractionating plant; worked in the expansion of the natural gas liquid extraction plant at San Joaquín as plant operator; supervisor in the construction and start-up of the Natural Gas Liquid Extraction Plant in Santa Barbara, State of Monagas, participating in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of equipment such as turbines, turbo-expanders, ovens, pumps.
