CAREER OBJECTIVES

I have 18 years experience in the Maritime industry, sailing on a variety of vessels; from oil tankers to supply ships and Shore few Shore assignments, immediately available for hire.
PROFESSIONAL SKILS
- Excellent working knowledge of STCW-95 Rules related to Documentation and Certification of Seafarers to work on board Merchant Ships and Offshore Supply Vessels.
- Very Sound knowledge of all Marine Crew recruitment procedures which involves selection, interview and processing of all documents for seafarers as required by STCW-95 requirements.
- Good working knowledge of COC Endorsement of Seafarers for Panama/Liberian/Singapore/Indian/Gibraltar Flag vessels.
- Sound Knowledge of all aspect of Crew Change Planning executing Which includes Visa, Medicals and Travels.
- Good working knowledge of Visa Rules of U.K. U.S.A, Nigeria,
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and UAE.
- Good Contact with Various International Travel Agencies, Maritime Training Institutes, Embassies, Ship Owners, Ship Manning Agencies
- Good Knowledge of ISM/SMS/ISPS Rules and its implementation on board Ship’s. Also I have assisted Many Master’s of our Company for carrying out ISM Internal and External Audits at various Indian and foreign Ports.
- Good knowledge of Various State Port Controls Rules/checks especially by AMSA/USCG and also good knowledge of Documentations and various Checks required by Oil Major Inspection, like B.P, PETRONAS, CHEVRON, BHP, SHELL, TOTAL ACTIVITY .
- Fair Knowledge of Cargo and stability calculations and handling of small supply boats.
- A very Sound experience of Carrying out Operation ,Maintenance and trouble shootings of all Marine Communication and Navigational Equipment like GMDSS console, High Power HF/VHF/UHF Transmitters , Receivers, Satellite Comm. ( A,B,C,M) Equipment, Radar, Echo Sounder, GPS ,Gyro Compass , Voyage Data Recorder, Automatic Identification System, Public Address System and all other equipment and instruments widely used on board Ships or at Base stations.
- Very Good exposure to the, GMDSS Radio & Satellite Equipment, Ship Radio Station Survey (GMDSS) Requirements , Certification of shipboard equipment with classification societies (ABS/DNV/Lloyds, etc) , Satellite Communication Systems (Inmarsat), Radar Systems.
- Sound knowledge of all rules and procedures involved for carrying out Ship Board Safety Radio Survey (GMDSS) as I have attended many a such surveys during my tenure as Radio Officer on board Ships/Barges/Offshore units.
- Good working knowledge on Computers, like trouble shootings, networking and fair knowledge of Programming.
- Very good Maritime Teaching skills and capabilities as I have worked Part time in some of the Maritime Radio Training Institutes in India. Well capable of Teaching GMDSS/SOLAS 95(LSA/FFA)/ISM/STCW-95 etc.
