Drug Trafficking, Gang Related Crimes, Money Laundering as well as informant handling in relation to the above criminal activity. I also had experience in the fugitive unit where suspects were extradited to various jurisdictions with active warrants for their arrest.

In connection with these duties I investigated major crime suspects to include the Licovoli Family Organization in the City of Cleveland. To accomplish these, proper warrants had to be obtained to include search and arrest warrants from Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judges. Case file had to be maintained of the evidence being gathered for prosecution. In connection with the above money laundering was an element of the overall investigation.

Regarding drug investigations, this was mostly associated with Gang Related crimes within the city. In connection with this, informants were used extensively to gain information on the leaders of the Gangs in Cleveland. This information was then used to obtain search and arrest warrants in furtherance of the investigations.

Investigations often overlapped into federal jurisdiction where it was necessary to Coordinate/Liaise with federal law enforcement agencies to include the US Marshal Service for possible implementation of the witness protection program.

To accomplish this correct evidence and asset seizure procedures were applied in connection with the arrest and prosecution of the arrested suspects. Also in connection with the above courtroom testimony was a major aspect to the investigation to carry out a successful prosecution.
