• Over 21 years hands –on Electrical Maintenance experience including 7 yrs (5 yrs Offshore Jack up Barge +2 yrs Land Drilling Rig ) as a Chief Rig Electrician on board Off-shore Self propelled & self Elevated Jack-up Barge MV Trident Bibby One (Western- USA technology) of BIBBY Line (UK) Ltd. which was operated in gulf region and also having experience in Chinese Land drilling Rig type ZJ70LDB (Can rig/BPM -Top drive -VFD system) of Sun drilling (LLP) at Kazakhstan. At present I am working with KS Energy-Atlantic offshore Marine services for their Land drilling project i.e. rig pre-commissioning (Dubai) & rig up operations at Tunisia (North Africa).

• Hands on experience in maintenance of all electrical equipment of the rig, including Top drive Can Rig-(USA) & BPM (china) with AC Drilling motors with VFD system (Siemens& Omron IDM controls)
• Rotary Table (W BAUT-China) with AC motor with VFD controls.

• Good knowledge of PLC-programming & trouble shooting.

• Wide ranging experience in complete Barge Electrical systems Inspection, Installations, setting to work, testing & tuning , Calibration & Commissioning, operation, Defect analysis, trouble- shooting , fault finding and rectification, Overhauling of electrical equipment.

Essential Functions:
• Maintain, repair and trouble shoot ISO drive SCR system with Allen Bradley SLC 500 PLC control system of Self Electrical propulsion & thrusters system using GE 752 DC Shunt motors of 1000HP.

• Maintain, repair of SEA REX (USA) Electro- hydraulic jacking system with ‘Allen Bradley’ SLC 500 PLC control system.

• PC based Planned Preventive Maintenance by computer Soft ware AMOS (M&P), condition based Maintenance and breakdown Maintenance by operational readiness with zero accident concepts and document the work performed on machinery.
• PC based Inventory Management (AMOS M&P soft ware) for easy retrieval, order, custody and accounting of Electrical spare gear.
• Performs and interpret power calculations, power factor, insulation tests and positive relay tests.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus & repairs of transformer, motors, relays, switches, sensing devices, and lighting fixtures rotating machinery, pumps, lighting and alarm system.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards and replaces Electric motor bearings & rewires motors.
