Responsibility :-
The Project HSE Coordinator’s role & responsibilities are to establish and implement the Project HSE Management System in line with the company’s and corporate standards.
Ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the project.
To establish Project HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corp. QHSE Policy) and continually improve it.
Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Project HSE Management Plan based on Companies Management standards and Project requirements.
Attend weekly and Monthly coordination meeting of Project task force
Conduct weekly Subcontractors (EPC) safety coordination meeting at site. Incident & Accident investigations and root cause analysis. Conduct safety inspection at site with Project teem.
Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Project HSE Management System to project employees. Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees.
Responsible for ensuring that Project HSE Management policy plans and procedures are implemented effectively and are suitable for their purposes and use for which they are intended.
Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project organization.
Report the Project HSE Audit Results to Corporate QHSE Team Leader and Project Manager.
Monitor Project HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Field HSE activities based on Companies Management system and Project requirements.
Responsible for Engineering HSE Engineer and Construction HSE staff.
Coordinate and communicate with Client on Project HSE issues.
Produce and develop the Project HSE Training Plan. Ensure implementation of the plan. Ensure that training records are maintained.

Provides safety and loss prevention information, support and mentorship to operations personnel and other internal clients to ensure the conduct of safe and hygienic work practice. Assist with the development and implementation of safe operating and emergency procedures, on project. Takes and active role in the implementation of the clients permit to work system and provides independent oversight by reviewing selected permits issued to operations personnel. Conducts regular project safety inspection of operating plant and equipment. Participates in incident investigations, including near misses, property damage, injuries, occupational illness and spills. Assists with the maintenance of incidents record keeping system. Ensure that safety equipment and a facility are kept in best working condition by developing and implementing equipment inspection and preventive maintenance program, setting up efficient record keeping systems of all equipment under responsibility and recommend the replacement of faulty equipment.

Responsibility: Lead a team of safety officers with the peak manpower exceeding 1200 employees. Main functions were organizing all safety training, coordinating with client regarding all HSE aspect and was having all overall responsibility of safe execution of the job. Advise on safety trends accident information developments and latest safe working techniques and prevailing legislative requirements. In particular, control monitor and co-ordinate the activities in respect of safety, health and environmental policies with clients and subcontractor’s personnel accountable to the project site manager for maintenance of the highest possible safety’s standard. And ensure the site safety plan and safety manual procedures are regularly reviewed. Also good knowledge in conducting staff training in safety and provide first aid and fire fighting techniques under emergency conditions.
