I have been constantly working for Talisman as night drilling supervisor for over 3 years, I have covered the senior day supervisor’s position several times. I now feel ready for a change and some new challenges in my career. I am still working for Talisman at present and would be available to start at the end of June 2009. I would like a regular rotation and day rate contract if possible.

February 1990 to August 2001 :-

Position Held : Unit Manager / Data Engineer, Logging Geologist for Baker Hughes INTEQ

August 2001 to January 2006 :-

Position Held : Off Shore Wellsite Geologist working in the North sea.

Experience
• Accurate cutting description alongside online monitoring, recording and interpretation of information.
• Produce, edit, proof-read reports and logs using the company's software packages.
• Interpretation and supervision of LWD/MWD, wire line and mud logging personnel.
• Proven ability to pick formation tops, casing points and core points.
• Experienced in core handling, analysis and description.
• Online evaluation of formation pore pressure.
• Able to work independently and under pressure, reliably meeting deadlines.
• Day to day management and administration of a geological and engineering information system on offshore.
• Experienced in HP/HT wells and extended reach wells.
• Computer literate in the use UNIX and DOS based systems, with a good working knowledge of PC software.
• Proficiency in oral presentation skills as a result of assessed course presentations at university, and during training in the offshore sector for interpersonal skills.

• Supervise the cutting and pulling of casing strings and well head / guide bases
• Competent with running completions and well test operations.
• Chairing of daily drilling meetings and safety meetings.
• Competent with IDS and Synergi reporting systems.
• Represent client at the well site and visibly lead the well objectives.
• Measure / prepare and supervise the measuring / running of various casing and casing cement jobs.
• Ensure environmental procedures are followed and reported.
• Ensure the well path is followed and that the specific directional targets are achieved.
• Identify and report any specific performance gaps with the well site personnel.
• Understand the operation and function of all tools run into the well.
• When problem occur provide honest and complete information.
• Ensure thorough investigations of incidents are carried out, followed up and closed out.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured in detail.
• Ensure that the mud properties are in Spec and kept within the required limits and adequate LCM supplies on location.
• To visually confirm that the correct equipment has arrive on the installation.
• Over see the running of the BOP’s.
• Keep an up to date track on the well progress relative to the give AFE.
• Over see stripping and kick drills on the rig floor prior to drilling reservoir section.
• Ensure that all daily reports are detailed and accurate.
• Ensure timely call out and return of equipment and personnel to minimize cost.
• Ensure hole cleaning practices are being used.
• Supervise LOT / FIT for the well.
• Monitor the ECD while drilling not to induce formation breakdown with PWD and press pro.
• Input into the chose of bits to be run over the various section and grade the bits when at surface.
• Prepare the final drilling report for the well.
• Make sure all personnel are fully aware of the Well bore stability and potential loss zones
• Ensure that the well abandonment procedures are in accordance with the UKOOA guidelines.
• Supervise and prepare the wire line rig up’s and ensure all corrected method statements are in place and correct.
• Supervise the rig up of all well test surface equipment.
• Perform well kill operation with brine.
• Oversee the coil tubing milling and drift runs required to clean out scale from the well.
• Supervise the coil setting of inflatable bridge plugs.
• Oversee the pumping and displace of liquid stone cement through coil tubing. 7” sand screen liner and Run Completion/ nitrogen lift well test.
• Pull completion, Mill window and sidetrack 8-1/2” section.
• Horizontal Cement plugs & Kick off, high gas/ high pressure.
• Complex sub-sea intervention with fishing, milling, plugged coil tubing BHA, well kill and bull heading
