1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Sir or Madam,
I am an experienced petrophysical engineer who has international experience in many parts of the world including Africa and the Middle East. In Africa I participated in an 84 well drilling program as one member of a 2 engineer team. In Syria I functioned as the interim engineering manager and spent months along the Euphrates river participating in all engineering functions.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Petrophysical Engineer Pecten International
Acted as petrophysical engineering coordinator for expat engineers in various locations around the world. I participated in a lease evaluation team traveling in several countries in South America with several geologists and geophysicists. I evaluated well data from around the world for possible buy in.
Engineering Manager Pecten Syria Company
Acted as interim engineering manager for several months. In the beginning we had 2 rigs operating near the Euphrates river and I was the only engineer. I had to supervise the coring and testing besides handling all the petrophysics and calling in the morning cuttings report. When I left we had 6 rigs operating and we had to bring in 2 more engineers to handle things.
Petrophysical Engineer Pecten Cameroon Company
I did the petrophysics on 84 wells of which 82 were eventually put on line to produce over 100,000 BOPD. The wells were shallow and we drilled and cased about 1 per week. I designed many of the completions and some of the drilling programs. Most of the completions were barefoot gravel packs but some were dual selectives. We had no geology or geophysics department so I had to represent Pecten at data scout meetings in the area.
I worked on exploration wildcats in West Texas and Southern Oklahoma for a couple of years evaluating petrophysical parameter and supervising coring and drill stem tests.
Senior Field Engineer Schlumberger Well Services
I spent 3 years in South Louisiana logging wells and supervising a logging crew. We were mainly assigned to work in the Atchafalaya basin but we covered wells anywhere in Louisiana and sometimes offshore. Most of the wells were deep and hot. I got a lot of good experience evaluating unconsolidated clastics.
