CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Dear Sirs,
I am a Petroleum Engineer, with more than 20 years of experience in Drilling/Completions and Well Testing (on and offshore). The core of my experience complies 14 years at deep waters in Brazil: providing technical support for field staff in daily work over and completion operations, managing time and costs, with interface with subsurface, surface, and drilling teams to obtain integrated solutions; ensuring that the completion design and operations are optimized while maintaining expenditures within the budget and schedule constraints. The start-up of my field experience was the supervision of land rigs in Amazonic jungle oil fields.
I also achieved the PMP (Project Management Professional Certification) from PMI. I am undertaking a MBA in Cost Engineering. I am fluent in Portuguese, English and French, with basic knowledge of Norwegian and Spanish. I have an excellent safety record, keen managerial skills, and work very well with others. I am a highly motivated team player, willing and able to share my experience and to learn different skills; I take responsibility with leadership and supervisory capability.
My goal is a position where I can use my experience and skills to increase company profitability, proficiency, and growth in a safe, productive manner. I can relocate. I want new challenges and the sponsorship for a working VISA will pay off because I am a hard worker focused on maximizing the revenue.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Working at Petrobras Engineering Division, at the Critical Equipment Supply for the construction of a Desulphuring Gasoline Plant (HDT) and a Cogenerating Power Plant.
I am working as Supply Engineer for Critical Equipment for that upgrading of a refinery. I am in charge of organizing the documentation for those supplies: documents commenting and approving within many disciplines as fabrication, erection, foundations, machines. I got into Project Management and I am undertaking a MBA on Cost Engineering. My duties are a mix of technical (as Mechanical Engineer) and managerial ones.

Worked at Petrobras Business Unit of Rio de Janeiro at GEP (Group of Enterprise of Well) of SS-51 coordination and execution (as company man) of Wells Drilling, Completion, “Work Over” and Formation Evaluation (March 2003 to September 2007).
In this role, I worked as company man offshore and as project coordinator for Roncador Asset (deep water) projects. This project involves 4 phases of development, most of the wells drilled horizontally with sand control and eventually frac packs at the completion phase. I used msproject for planning and gathered all the technical personnel for proper preparation (subsea equipment suppliers, sand control companies, completion experts, reservoir engineers, geologists, geophysisists, Rig manager. We coordinated the planning, execution and logistics. All the plan was undertaken 3 months ahead and revised by the company man onboard, with daily meetings with all the personnel involved. As a GEP (onshore coordinator) I was in charge in helping the company man onboard with troubleshooting.

Worked at the Subsea Engineering Division-Underwater Electronic Systems, offshore, down hole data acquisition for Well Testing, data analysis with the PANSYSTEM software. I also installed and repaired Permanent downhole gauges (PDG) and TPT (Temperature and Pressure Transmitters); supervised the operations of DPR (“Drill Pipe Riser”) from Jan 1993 to March 2003.
Most of my offshore experience was carried out at the subsea division, dealing with electrical installations for Xmas Trees, manifolds. PDG (permanent downhole gauges installation) was the core business of my activity which included specification, planning and executing the installation. PDG process took several years because we had to deal with all the interfaces and procedures (wet connectors have to be redesigned, cables to be redefined, surface signal acquisition systems to be developed). Formely, I also worked in electronic data acquisition for well testing; that included using a notebook, connectors, a running device and the onsite interpretation sofware. I acted as a service provider. At last, I took part in DPR (Drill Pipe Riser) applications for deeper water. I was in charge of the electrical and multiplex functions as a supervisor on its operation. I also took part in the DPR upgrading group, sponsored by Kvaerner. I worked offshore at most of the drilling rigs and flexible lines lauchers which worked in Brazil (Transocean`s, Diamond Offshore, Pride, Neddrill, Sunrise 2000, Kommandor 3000, Flexservice I, Toisa Sentinel).

Supervised well completions, formation evaluation and work over (cased hole logging, perforating, cement squeezing, Drill Stem Tests, production tests, data analysis in the Amazonic Petroleum Field of Urucu from 1989 to 1992.
It was my start up as company man working on onshore completions in remote locations (Amazonic jungle, 600 Km west from Manaus). Because of pioneering and few producing pipelines, most of the work was about formation evaluation, DST (drill stem tests) at both drilling and completion rigs. The logistical problems was a key point in operations planning and executing. Managing the work in the rain forest with poor communication was a good way of learning how to think ahead.

International experience: worked at Schlumberger Wireline Services as a trainee in open hole logging and perforating in Mexico (Isle of Carmen, Campeche) and South of Argentina (Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut) in 1988 and 1989.
I joined as a trainee engineer and worked in Schlumberger for 5 months, most of the work carried at the CTC (Comodoro Trainning Center). I also worked offshore in Mexico in Abkatun-E and Ku-A platforms.

Managing Petrobras gas producing fields of Itaúnas, Fazenda Cedro and Lagoa Suruaca, in north of Espirito Santo State - Brazil (from April to November of 1988).
After the 13 month training course on Petroleum Engineering provided by Petrobras, I was assigned to DIES (today is UN-ES), the producing district in Espirito Santo. I was in charge of the gas production there. My job was to keep up with the compressing systems and to guarantee the proper delivery of gas to consumers.
