Primary responsibility is to maintain the street network layer for Miami-Dade County and
centralize GIS systems. Duties include:
Develop programs to perform global programmatic updates to dataset in AML, VBA, VB.Net
Data analysis between multiple datasets (Photographs, PTXA, GIS layers, and field checks).
Maintain the data on two platforms ArcGis/Windows and ArcInfo/Unix. Edit features attributes; perform queries to identify data discrepancies.
Respond and meet deadlines from CAD 911, CSR 311, M-DCPS School Board of transportation, Fire, Elections Dept. and many others throughout Miami-Dade County.
Perform QC of aerial photography include the examination of data for accuracy; develop various analytical, graphic reports and Street/Address System Documentation.
Customize/configure desktop ArcInfo projects for others to facilitate Street Network maintenance and prepare presentation quality maps.
Assisting in the planning, analyzing, QA, and distribution of LIDAR project.
