PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide Quality leadership and direction to the project management and project team members
 The preparation, issue and revision of the contract / Project Quality Management Plan, Inspection/Verification Strategy and Assurance Strategies in line with project, statutory and regulatory requirement

 Assist in the development of Project Goals and Objectives in line with project requirements. Develop and deliver Quality expectations and performance measures
 Implement QA procedures and ensure QC is maintained to a high standard.
 Ensure Quality risks are managed in accordance with the risk management system.
 Direct project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures.
 Provide QA/QC review during bid / tender evaluation.
 Review Purchase order and ensure that QA/QC requirements are addressed
 Manage Project audit program. Conduct Quality audits/reviews across the project to determine gaps in the Management system requirements thereby driving improvement in the system.
 Provide effective technical assistance to the Project Team on all QA/QC matters.
 Coordinate Engineering Verification activities with Verification body as per Verification Plan
 To establish a team of competent and experienced quality discipline personnel to meet the scope of work and specify project quality requirements.
 Ensure that project personnel are provided with the tools and knowledge required to execute the project to legislation, procedures and compliance.
 Ensure that a robust and effective Quality Assurance process is established and implemented. Recommend corrective and preventative action where necessary to ensure its effective implementation and improvement.
 Control and check the specifications, requisitions, design, procedures, manuals etc. for compliance with project requirements / Company Standards
 To convene and attend meetings concerning project Quality Management matters as appropriate.
 Provide QA/QC input and support the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes and monitor subcontractor/supplier performance.
 Review vendor / sub-contractor ITP’s and ensure that project inspection and testing requirements are covered
 Arrange 3rd Party Inspection to ensure fabrications and procured items meet Company quality requirements.
 Conduct PIM’s (Pre-inspection meeting) at major package vendor / contractor location and ensure that QA/QC requirements are properly communicated.
 Ensure that vendor / contractor QA/QC deliverables are reviewed and comments are closed.
 Manage the project inspection team - in relation to Project activities
 Supervise, co-ordinate and control the QA/QC matters for the supply of materials, prefabrication and construction for onshore and offshore works.
 Supervise and coordinate and control the QA/QC matters for the offshore installation, precommisioning and commissioning
 To plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub-contractors as agreed.
 To ensure robust Quality Control plans are in place for all suppliers and sub-contractors.
 Liaise with Project Team members on a daily basis providing feedback on performance of Contractor/ Sub-Contractor
 Ensure review of QC documentation are progressively completed by QC team in support of the Contractor's activities
 Ensure that vendor QA/QC final dossiers are reviewed and compiled as a part of project final document.
 To promptly report to corporate any Quality Management problems which cannot be resolved at project level.
 To act as the sole liaison between the Project and the customer on all matters related to Project Quality Management.
 Maintain Non-Conformance register to ensure that variations to Company standards are treated correctly
 To ensure that the necessary processes and systems are in place for the preparation and filing of comprehensive records to satisfy Project and customer Quality Management requirements, as well as regulatory requirements.
 Implement and manage a continuous improvement process, including a process of management system review.
 To organize /perform induction sessions at the commencement of, and during the course of the project with the aim of explaining the project Quality Management System.
 Facilitate the implementation of a customer satisfaction measurement process.
 Comply with the Quality Management Roles and Responsibilities specific to position.

 Project: Fuel Development Plan – Offshore & Onshore, Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). KJO is a joint
Venture between Aramco Gulf Operations and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, operating the Khafji offshore of the
Kuwait / Saudi Arabia border.
