Working Experience -

(a) Pak Arab Refinery (PARCO). (04 Years Experience)

From Nov. 2003 to till now As a Shift Technologist

Working in PARCO in operation department as a Shift Technologist at different Terminal and pumping stations.
Supervising tank farm area and high pressure centrifugal pumps operation, in control room thru latest PLC & SCADA system.
Supervise tanker off loading operation (crude oil + HSD) from BOP’S
Record tanker activates, all fast, loading arms connection, jetty valve lineup, commence discharge and stripping of remaining cargo.
Monitor operational parameters, and adjust set values for safe & smooth operation, like pressure control valve (PCV) numbers of operating pumps, PFI Plants.
Adjust corrosion inhibitor feeding and flow improver.
Coordinate with maintenance dept. and ensure safety measures as per permit to work system (PTW).
Operate Diesel driven E-Generator in case of power failure.
Received and launch different types of pigs in pipe line.
Liaison with tanker loading master, surveyors, KESC, Station Incharge, Operation Engineer.
Supervise the contractor activities in operation area.
Care fully handover / takeover the shift charge
Log shift operational activities and all events timely
Continuously monitor and record operational parameters and check the communication (Intercom, hotline, PTCL, VHF, Selective Phone, etc.)
Control and monitor terminal station, main line operation, communicate ops, parameters with other stations and make decision to continue operation as safe & smooth as possible
Before starting delivery / receipt ops, to OMC’S check lineup and necessary documents and follow oil movement programme.
After starting receiving ops, check product specification (Density + Color + Temp,)
Carefully receive SKO + HSD + Crude oil interface & switchover accordingly.
In case of electric supply failure energized essential equipments by E-Generator and contact grid station for quick restoration.
Compare the parameter show at PLC, with field data if found any abnormality or fault raised work order.
After making safety measures issue work permits.
Liaison with other terminal / pumping stations.
Carefully & accurately calculate receipt + delivery quantity, delivery stop time, pig / interface arrival time, receiving / delivery tank switchover time etc.
Informed, update operational changes to station incharge, ops, engineer and follow their instructions.
Follow guidelines provided in S.O.P + PARCO safety manual + contingency Action Plant + Emergency response plant + Disaster action Plant.
Supervise tank cleaning before handed over for maintenance
Fill check list, document as per standard operating procedure (SOP)
Monitor oil-water separators + Sump Pumps + Slop tanks.


(b) BOSICOR Pakistan Ltd. (30,000 BPD Refinery)

From Aug. 2003 to Oct. 2003 As a Junior Officer (03 Months)

Working in Commissioning team to first startup of refinery at CDU + VDU Unit
Supervising water flashing, steam flashing and nitrogen purging operation of area.
Commissioning of floating roof and floating screen tank & conical roof tanks.
Supervise crude oil decanting operation.
Received crude oil and feeding in CDU.


(c) PARCO (Thru Contractor) (As a Tanks Surveyor 2 Years 5 Months)

From May 2000 to Aug. 2003

Working in Shift as a Tank Surveyor in oil movement department.
Working in Commissioning Team of Large dia floating roof, floating screen and conical roof tanks as a Tanks surveyor.
Good command in dipping, sampling, decanting operation.
Good command in all types of product receiving, transfer, gain / Loss, calculations, annual inventories.
Supervise water draining + sludge cleaning activities.


(d) PARCO (Thru Contractor) (As an Operator 04 Years)

From May 1996 to May 2000

Working in Shift as an Operator, Record field data and operate pumps and valves (HOV, MOV) as per shift incharge advise.
Operate diesel driven E-Generators, Fire water pumps and Record Parameters.

Qualification: -

from Sindh Board of Technical Education. (1st Division)

2 Matriculation (Science) in 1994
from Sindh Board of Secondary Education. (1st Division)

PC literacy HMI training (Using) intellution IFIX 3.5 held by INTECH automation (USA).
