KEY RESPONSIBLE AREAS:

Procurement:

• Design, Develop and Implement systems, procedures and strategies related to procurement.
• Ensure that all contracting and procurement activities are conducted in accordance with policy and sound, ethical, business practices.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to maximizing the value of investments while minimizing risk and liability exposure.
• Work closely with the Client, Vendor firms, Facilities, Maintenance and Finance departments to ensure all budget requirements and schedules are met.
• Vendor development, Alternative vendor development, indigenous vendor development etc.
• Constantly explore the market for new sources for materials, processes and services.
• Provide an ethical and consistent approach to the procurement of equipments, goods and services.
• Instrumental in the selection and appraisal of suppliers from the preferred vendor database and performance measurement of the same.
• Take part and assist in supplier and service provider negotiations.
• Conducting techno commercial evaluation of offers and Cost Estimation.

Stores:

• Responsible for Receiving, Issuing, Placing, Accounting & Reconciliation of Materials.
• Responsible for Placing Material with Safety Measures.
• Liasioning with Suppliers for material delivery, Invoices etc.,
• Develop, Design and Implement systems and procedures related to stores.
• Ensure Inventory Management activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory, company policies and generally accepted principles.
• Inventory Control and Management.
• Handling JIT Material.
• Maintaining Stock Levels (Minimum, Maximum, Re-Order Level).
• Handling of obsolete materials & scrap materials for disposal
• Experienced in Material Codification.
• Loading, Unloading and Transportation of Materials.
