I am looking for employment in Oil and Gas in Bergen, Norway. As you can see from my work experience, I have over 7 years experience in a variety of Project co-ordination and software support roles in Aker Solutions, Exxonmobil and Shell.

February 2007 – Date Work Package Manager – Aker Solutions
Work Package Manager employed to manage Aker Solutions Subsea Data, Systems and Software projects, the products developed in the department are the iConSCU and PLC based topside control systems. Projects follow a 4 phase waterfall model with stage transitions at each phase. Each project involves managing hardware engineers, software engineers and a test team as well as interfacing with the overall project manager, technical authority, clients, project planners and department managers. The purpose being to deliver a project on budget and on time.
February 2006 – August 2006 Support Analyst - Petrotechnics Ltd A six month contract to extend and expand my experience within a customer focussed side of the IT industry. Key achievements include -
First line & some second line support of Sentinel Pro software (work safety system for offshore and dangerous environments). Job mostly involved trying to diagnose where problems lay in software, whether they where in configuration, core product, the environment and ensuring co-ordination through engineers through to resolution.
Sept 2003 – February 2006 Application Support Analyst - ExxonMobil, Aberdeen
Employed as a contractor to support ExxonMobil’s Hydrocarbon Accounting Applications within a team of application support analysts. Key Achievements include – 2nd Line Helpdesk assisting in the support of around 50 applications some MS access based; Oracle based and others off the shelf packages.
Two of applications were bespoke Oracle/UNIX based hydrocarbon accounting applications much of my duties involved planning and implementing upgrades and changes to applications by organising Unix Support & Oracle Support, in different locations to make required changes to software. A significant part of the role involved documentation – completing application risk technical assessments and upgrading application support documentation.
A contractor working as a mini-project manager liaising between the customer and IT engineers. A request desk to deliver a one point of contact for all IT services such new users accounts, presentations, new PC/Printers, Unix Workstations access to software. Duties mainly included evaluating customer requests, defining requirements and dividing the tasks up between hardware engineers, software admin etc and following through until completion.
