Responsibilities:

• Regularly updates Integrity Management System (IMS) programs and procedures
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities on site with respect to repairs and alterations. Interacts with
Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and ABSA with respect to administration of the Operation.
• Leads and supervises contract QA/QC inspectors.
• Manage inspection schedules and NDT services for evaluation of piping systems, vessels, PSV’s and other
Static process equipment.
• Perform external inspections on Installation inspection of Boilers, exchangers & storage Tanks. & ensure
Compliance to ABSA regulations;
• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of the refinery.
• Detail orientated and capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work.
• Possess ability to assist in scheduling of activities related to inspection.
• Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment. Regularly updates Integrity Management System (IMS) programs and procedures

• Carry out “fitness for purpose” analysis and make recommendations with regard to extend of repairs;

• Updating the procedures for analysis of Inspection anomalies including a thorough design review to determine system design parameters and justification for repair;
