2007-2009 Grenland Group Technology SA (Norway) – Structural Engineer
Offshore and structural design check using NS3473 Norwegian code for steel design, DSN (Norwegian code for offshore loading & ships), EC1 & EC3 code. Done a steel design project using Eurocode and Norwegian codes and different programs for an norwegian engineering firm (NLI) named Elkem Solar Plant Offshore Platafform (Norway). I have done the design of Steel Stairs plus secondary steel beams in the whole platform using programs for steel structural design. The whole platform was modeled in 3D Tekkla modeller version 13.0, and i have done some steel detailing with it because it is a good tool to represent how the connections look and how the steel beams and columns are placed. I used to calculate the steel structure familiar tools such as StaadPro and Ansys Workbench with SolidWorks for modelling specific parts like steel connections. The hand calculations were made in Mathcad 14.
Also I have done the designing of a project named Minox Project which is a steel platform for carrying weights of different size cabinets plus different equipments (pump, blower,deoxydiser..) with the same tools mentioned above.
Done a project named Hunday Plattform using StaadPro 2005, Tekkla 13.1 and Ansys as tools to calculate and draw the steel platforms inside Offshore structure.
