Dear officer,
I have been involved in the upstream sector of the oil industry since 1992. I exposed myself to exploration and production as a geoscientist (i.e. worked as a geophyscicist and geologist). I have been also working in a service company and also as a lecturer in the university. Hence I have a broad and the same time detailed and in depth knowledge in different sectors of the oil industry. A managerial position at the present time is an appropriate with my character, ideas and experience.
I am self-motivated, adaptable, display high initiative, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

2005 – PRESENT: SENIOR PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST, PDO, OMAN
Responsibilities include:
• Well planning, Operations, Reservoir Modelling for Thayfut and Runib
Fields.
Construction of Static Models to used for dynamic modelling .
• Workflows for well data management for whole PDO operations.
• Critical evaluation of work done by the previous operator and inclusion of
these in the current concepts.
● Development geology in the producing fields.
• Exploration in the undeveloped areas.
● Analyses of geological data and the design of data acquisition programmes to optimise the value of the information. Active drilling and study programmes are common.
● Development and production studies.
● Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of static and dynamic models for characterization, development planning and field optimization.
● Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies through the recommendation of additional geoscience activities to reduce uncertainties.
● Work with business development consultants to prepare project proposals and make technical presentations.
● Responsible for the training, mentoring and leadership of junior and intermediate level geologists.
● Working environment, from seismic through facilities, and interact and communicate actively with all the disciplines in the team.

2004 – 2005: SENIOR GEOSCIENTIST, SCHLUMBERGER, ABU DHABI, UAE
Responsibilities include:
• Provide support and training for Petrel software to various companies (Exxon, Shell, Oxy, UAE National companies, Oman and Qatar national companies) and consulting projects.
• Training includes all aspects of Petrel (e.g. Introduction to Petrel, Property Modeling, Geophysical Interpretation, Structural Modeling, etc).
• Represent Schlumberger in on site support regarding modelling issues using Petrel. Geomodeling, using property modelling in Petrel, of Mukhaizna oil field. Petrophysical investigation using Geolog and Interactive Petrophysics.

2002 – 2004: LECTURER, DEPT. OF NATURAL RESOURCES, CRETE UNIVERSITY, GREECE
Responsibilities included:
• Teaching of Applied Geophysics, Petrophysics, Petroleum Geology and Drilling Operations courses. Responsible for field trips
• Organise and administrative the support for post-graduate studies.
• Conduct research supervise post-graduate students
• Organise links between academia and industry and government institutions.

1997 – 2002: GEOSCIENTIST, ENTERPRISE OIL PLC, GREECE
Responsibilities included:
• Petrophysical (carbonaceous, clastics) evaluation using Geolog.
• Seismic interpretation of complex thrusted units using Openworks.
• Pre-drill investigations. All geological (basin analysis-geomodeling, structural studies, geochemical analysis), petrophysical log, and seismic data analysis for exploration wells in western Greece.
• Drilling to post well evaluation, contractor assessment and management of service companies.
• Sole representative of Enterprise Oil on well sites.
• Preparation of lease relinquishment reports for joint venture partners.
● Conduct petroleum system analysis including play fairway mapping and prospect generation.
● Interpret and integrate seismic data with geological reservoir information to provide characterisation for input into subsurface models
● Quantify reservoir risk and uncertainty and integrate with volumetric calculations
● Perform subsurface business decision and risk analysis: uncertainty analysis, geostatistics and value of information assessment
● Sequence stratigraphic and structural (fracture) analysis
● Define reservoir characterisation parameters (porosity, permeability etc) and integrate production data
● Deliver depth-converted surface input data for the static reservoir models.

1992 – 1996: RESEARCHER (1996-1997) & PHD CANDIDATE (1992 – 1996), UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE, DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGY & GEOPHYSICS, AUSTRALIA
Responsibilities included:
• Basin analysis of Cooper-Eromanga Basins, in Australia. A collaborative project between the University of Adelaide and Santos Ltd. I used quite extensively Santos’ Ltd. geological/geophysical software. The aim of the project was to quantify the exhumation in the Cooper-Eromanga Basins and its implication to hydrocarbon exploration.
• Interpreted numerous seismic sections and porosity logs, extensive use of geochecmical database.
• New porosity trends determined for drilled and non-drilled areas.
• Proposed specific areas for further drilling.
