I am Egyptian born in Egypt I have previous experience for 8 years as an Drilling and work over in head offices and on the job sites in oil and gas offshore with GEISUM OIL CO. I. DD Job Roles responsibilities include the following:
1. Has working knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standards and Specifications to review and provides consultation to proponent and project representatives related to their interpretation/ application of the standards in his area of expertise.
2. Familiar with GeoPilot 5200, 7600 & 9600 (Rotary Steerable) running procedures include the Torsional Efficiency Monitor (TEM) & DrilSaver which are the primary detection and monitoring systems for Stick-Slip which is a damaging Downhole vibration mechanism and explanation of the reporting requirements (Daily & End of Run) that are required.
3. Broke the record for SDGM-432 (5-1/2” horizontal) in ROP (76.75 ft/hr), as of March 2007.
4. Performed the longest run (5640 ft.) in Saudi utilizing GeoPilot 5200 which still is the longest reach well in Khurais field(well#KHRS-626) until now.
5. Ran the first successful 9600 GeoPilot in Egypt (Mediterranean Sea) with British Petroleum.
6. Broke the record for KHRS-107 (12- ¼” build to horizontal) in ROP (40 ft/hr) to the 22ft/hr, as of Aug 2007.
7. Broke the record for KHRS-219 (12- ¼” build to horizontal) in ROP (52.73 ft/hr) to the 52.60ft/hr, as of Feb. 2007
8. Drill successfully, conventional directional drilling, steerable & horizontal drilling, medium radius, short radius, long radius & performance drilling.
9. Performed a successful operation of Sperry Drill downhole motors in most of Saudi fields including Khurais, AinDar, Uthmaniyah, Marjan, Khursaniyah, Haradh, Qatif, Kassab, Mazalij, Manifa, Hawiyah, Shedgum, Abu Jifan, Safanya & Maharah.
10. Understanding the operating characteristics and application of Sperry downhole motors for the effective application and optimum operation based on motor capabilities and considerations. .
11. Understands principles of Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) selection and aspects of Directional Drilling (DD) performance and ensures that BHA's are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling.

12. Proficient in the use of Directional Drilling computer software and able to assist in provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at the work site.
13. Proficient in updating well profile plots and providing client representative with accurate directional survey data.
14. Aware of client’s requirements with regards to surveying procedures.
15. Assists in the completion of a daily Directional Drilling report.
16. Assists in the completion of the BHA performance report for each BHA run.
17. Assists in the completion of all service tickets and relevant paperwork (well data spreadsheet, lesson learned/best practice, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) forms).
18. Familiar with the Directional Drilling aspects of the client’s approved drilling program.
19. Assists with inspection of all company equipment for use in the directional portion of the work when delivered to the work site.
20. Interfaces with the Measurement While Drilling (MWD/LWD) engineer to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct tool face references are applied.
21. Maintains records of all Directional Drilling equipment at well site including dimensional data and condition.
22. Ensure that all equipment is laid out after use according to company procedures and manifested for backload at the end of the job.
23. Participates in performance improvement initiatives as required by the Company.
24. Have an ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to standards is required; and to read and interpret designed well plans and to interpret directional survey information and other well-site data.
25. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
26. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.

II. Drilling & Work over Job Roles responsibilities include the following:
1. Oversees the execution of all operational programmers and acts as company-man on assigned rig covering drilling, work over, well completion and related activities covered by contractors and/or service company’s personnel involved in the provision of technical services/operations covering slick wire line, electric line logging, coil tubing, cementing, directional drilling, sampling coring, production logging surveys, running through tubing perforations, production testing (well testing and test analysis), acidizing, water shut offs, through tubing puncher, bridge plugs, sand fill clean-out, design the completion string assembly (running and pulling procedures) , un-loading and stimulation ,etc. In addition to design, run, and trouble shooter for the artificial lift system as well as jet pump, PCP and ESP in Geisum offshore fields to ensure proper well data documentation.
2. Develop scope and description of technology items, and leads the implementation and operation of developed solutions in the filed
3. Reviews work of engineers directed. Checks that reports are written according to established methods of good report presentation. Takes recommendations for further study or report changes. Approves reports for transmittal to supervisor
4. Initiates detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes and/or equipment. Performs work and/or delegates work to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects.
5. Brings all elements of a project together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactorily on schedule and within the money allowed; and initiates corrective action as required. Reviews cost estimates, recommendation from vendors, consultants, and licensors.
6. Support the development and formulates the basis for engineering studies in any of several basic or special engineering fields by analyzing and evaluating all data pertinent to problems. Evaluates data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, and long range planning and budgetary considerations.
7. Prepare drilling, completion and work over operations activity bar chart for both rig and hydraulic work over unit and update as necessary.
8. Prepare the standard procedures for critical operations such as killing, pooh existing completion string, fishing, and windows cutting for sidetracking in coordination with drilling manager.
9. Understanding of well damage mechanisms, good experience in well operations, such as scale removal, corrosion treatment and well /reservoir monitoring, including skills in perpetration of production logging such as PLT, MDT, perforating, well testing, test analysis and acidizing, etc.
10. Conducting technical and economic evaluation of well repairs, sidetracks, and production optimization through surface facilities.
11. Set proper procedures for collecting high quality flow test data and be able to validate flow test results.
12. Study, identify and apply new technologies and methods related to well production in order to improve productivity and / or injectivity of the wells.
13. Design / performing capability for artificial lift design particularly in jet pump, ESP and PCP.
14. Design and run single and dual completion string (Production & Permanent Packers, Landing Nipples, Side Pockets Mandrels and Sub Surface Safety Valves, etc.)
15. Be able to Space out and land Tubing Hanger and have a good understanding of Tubing movement programs.
16. Reviews programmers in light of work progress, proposes and implements minor amendments to approved programmers in light of unforeseen operations requirements.
17. Discusses proposed program changes with drilling manager to improve drilling operations and implements changes in case of emergency or safety hazardous on own initiative.
18. Participates in formulating methods and programs for the data evaluation of well performance and identification of problematic well.
19. Review the daily and evaluate the data quality for well and recommend action or modification to the programs to be taken to ensure that the data requirements are fulfilled in a timely and accurate.
20. Preparing the required wells data for both production & drilling, monitor and troubleshoot producing operations and well integrity and update the development plan and the wells platforms data.
21. Follow-up wells performance through daily, monthly & annual operations reports.
22. Follow up the inspection status of the tubing, down hole and wellhead equipment recovered from work-over wells, analyze the condition for these equipment and provide appropriate recommendations on suitability of these equipment to wells condition and up-dating the inventory for equipment to meet operation needs.
23. Establishing training requirement for junior petroleum engineers and monitor train younger engineers.
24. Lead / participate on multi-disciplinary teams, provide technical advice and guidance, and monitor train younger engineers.
25. Monitor and follows-up the daily drilling, completion and work over operation for verifying directional drilling data, well integrity, anticipating drilling and completion problems.
26. Prepare, review and verify the final drilling/completion reports prepared for ensuring proper well data documentation.
27. Prepare Geisum standard procedures for critical operations such as killing, POOH existing completion strings, fishing and window cutting, in coordination with concerned services and Geisum drilling engineers.
28. Participate with Geisum, material department and equipment suppliers in maintaining and appropriate level of drilling and completion material, including follow-up on delivery, consumption and disposal of such material, then making recommendations for proper control of Geisum related.
29. Monitors execution of related programmers, reviews and reports on progress, arranges administrative support such as accommodation and transportation of personnel and equipment.
30. Investigates requires supplies, order materials/equipment from company stores and occasionally request manufacturing/procurement of other requirements such as crossovers… etc.
31. Control and ensures the economic consumption and safe utilization of company’s supplied materials and equipment.
32. Ensures safe return of equipment and surplus materials to company’s stores upon completion of related operations.
33. Hold pre-job meetings with concerned contractor/service company’s personnel to highlight potential hazards and to advice on preventive measures.
34. Liaises with field production supervisor for platform inspection and handover of activities at each tower.
35. Handles all emergencies encountered during normal operations of rig moves as per company established policy.
36. Check, review and processed all services invoices as per contracts.
37. Preparing technical specifications and bid pricing (Man-hours, labor, supervision, material costs, consumables and sub-contract items) for all drilling and production technology operations to be incorporated into tendering documents.
38. Member in the bid evaluation committee for all drilling and production tech. Services including technical and commercial evaluation covering the following:
 Evaluates and review of bid documents, specifications, scope of works and drawings.
 Submit queries for clarifications on the technical and commercial aspect of the proposals.
 Identify sub-contract / specialized work items.
 Generates estimated man-hours and acquire competitive material and sub-contract prices.
 Prepares clarifications / qualifications to the bid/proposal.
 Prepares preliminary schedule, manpower loading and equipment list for technical proposal.
 Prepares overall cost summary of the contract service for review by Proposals & Estimation Manager.
39. Prepare production data for relevant industry well modeling software as will as flow performance, production optimization and nodal analysis utilizing PipeSim software (Schlumgerger product) & use the software to predict well and net performance under different operating conditions.
40. Follow-up the water injection system performance through the routine analysis of well, W.C, chloride content, chemical treatment package performance for Geisum crude to ensure the quality measures and the crude pumpability.
41. Competent in well completion, perforating, casing designs, drilling fluids selection, cement formulations, bit evaluation, well bore hydraulics, well control, and well surveillance.
