Australian Defence Department: Acting Team Leader, Hostage Recovery Team
Command, train and lead a team of Special Forces soldiers in the absence of the team commander during training and operations in dangerous environments. Assist in the development, analysis and production of operational security based plans for military operations. I was responsible for the coordination of military and civilian assets and briefing of personnel to assist operation outcomes. Assist in the preparation and briefing of senior management, government officials and heads of state on the conduct and capabilities of the response force.

Australian Defence Department: Acting Patrol Commander
Assist in the Training, planning and commanding of a team of up to 10 personnel in emergency security operations using advanced military, equipment and procedures. These operations were based on the Special Forces Appreciation and Analysis process and covered such areas as Asset protection, Access control, Surveillance and information analysis both from a point of defeating these systems and the design of systems.
1999 - 2002
Australian Defence Department: Team Member.
A member of a Special Forces team required to conduct military operations beyond the scope of conventional military and government agencies. This position required the successful completion of a rigorous selection course and training on start of the art military security equipment. As a Special Forces team member I was under constant scrutiny and was required to perform to a high level on both operations and training. On overseas deployment I worked and trained host nation military personnel and deployed to areas where I was responsible to provide village medical and health assistance and security advice as part of a team.
1994 1998
Team Commander: Infantry Reconnaissance Team.
Command and train and administer a specialist information gathering team in both a field and urban environment with a high level of autonomy. Under command and reporting to the Field Commander; who would use this information to develop, plan and execute operations involving up to 700 personnel. These operations would caver such areas as Vital Asset Protection, Security and evacuation of civilian personnel and control of civilian infra structure in a low level conflict.
