Please accept my cover letter and resume in application for the advertised Security Specialist (Physical) position with a company you are recruiting for. My leadership, experience and expertise in performing the aforementioned job functions are extensive and replete. My desire and ability to progress and succeed as a Security Specialist is evidenced by my successful track record and steady personal and career accomplishments conducive to this line of work.

After careful planning and preparation, my goal is to effectively support the functions of any company in the capacity of a Security Specialist. A career as a Security Specialist is where my interests lie and where I envision myself employed to retirement. Therefore, I have decided to submit the necessary application materials in the sincere hope that I am interviewed and selected for this critical position. I am highly motivated, competent and eager to perform the duties of the aforementioned position.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Specific experience to support position applied for:

3/1995-10/1998, Marine Corps Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team, Norfolk, VA. I was tasked with the responsibility of performing Close Quarters Battle shoot/donít shoot direct action on many platoon missions and personnel protection for convoy operations to include "Operation Vigilant Warrior" when my unit was tasked to provide Force Protection for Liaison office in Mogadishu, Somalia 2/1995-3/1995. Also I was attached to the unit to move to the new office in Mombassa, Kenya. My unit also provided Protection for Navy Seabees in Haiti in and around the Port-Au-Prince in "Operation Uphold Democracy"

3/1996-4/1996. My last deployment was to Khobar Towers in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, 6/1996-10/1996 when the Air force living quarters were bombed we provided Force Protection to the area around the building and as the Navy built secure check points and walls around the compound. Over the course of my three years I performed personnel security operations moving high ranking officials and officers in and around hostile areas as described. In addition, I was tasked on multiple occasions to provide support for Drug Enforcement Agency and Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms on joint task force missions in high threat areas.

10/2003-4/2004, State Extraditions Officer, Apopka, FL. I performed movements in small teams to escort high risk prisoners to and from different institutions and federal buildings on numerous dates and times. The movements were performed by air travel and motorcade operations.

8/2000-3/2001, Executive Protection International, Boston, MA, As a Independent Contractor I preformed personal protection for high profile clients such as CEOís, Delegates, and the transport of jewels and rare assets at different venues and public conferences on countless dates and times. In addition to the movements I set up different locations for security details on diverse dates and times. On two occasions I performed these duties as a team leader at the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.

4/2004-to present, Diplomatic Protection Services Inc, Hollywood, FL, As a Independent Contractor I performed personnel protection for high profile clients in the Miami Beach area, escorted through heavily congested venues. Also provided added security to nightclubs, restaurants. Clients that I have protected are on file at the above mention company. On some occasions I provided protection for financial institutions assets while in transit.

5/2004-to present, Viking Protective Group, Orlando, FL, whilst working as an Independent Contractor I was tasked to protect Bank technicians as they preformed the removal of large amounts of monies from outside sources in poverty struck areas. I also provided protection for the movement of the monies to secure location at multiple dates and times. Also I have protected State Senator Martinez and his family at different functions and venues.

9/2005-11/2005, As a independent Contractor working on two separate contracts (1) September 2, 2005 to September 22 and from October 1 to October 31, 2005. On each contract I served on a mobile security team transporting priceless items at different times and dates. Also I provided detailed reports, photos and supervised the recovery of clientís personal property. I was tasked with setting up a protection detail for the Federal Emergency Management Agency relief station with 24 hour security in Baton Rogue, LA.

11/2005-04/2006, IRI Contract. I am tasked as a PSD team member low visible Protection team with providing protection for the clients in the red zone. I perform counter surveillance and counter-sniper action in and around the clients place of work and to provide constant protection for there well being. I also coordinated logistics to include background checks, weapons training, code of conduct and language skills done with the Minister of Interior of Iraq. I was also tasked with the payroll in cash for the 45 local nationals providing access to the clientís area of activity on a weekly basis.

06/2006-12/2006, IRI Contract, I was assigned as a PSD team leader in Baghdad for the International Republican Institute with a small 5 man team for low visible protection. My duties as the team leader were to plan routes to and from venues, primary AIC for the client and to coordinate with other security and government agencies on security planning for the details movements. Protection for the clients and assets we used were in 2 vehicle motor operations to blend in with the local nationals. Also provided counter surveillance and counter sniper operations at clients residence. During this contract I was to oversee all daily operations for the PSD team for logistical support, communications and route planning. I reported directly to the site manager and program manager for security operations on a consent basis. Evaluation on security protocol was done every day on Intel provided by the Dept. of State and meetings once a week at the American Embassy.

02/2007- 09/2008, IRI Contract, I am currently assigned as a PSD team leader in Erbil for International Republican Institute, a small 5 man team for low visible protection. My duties as the team leader are to plan routes to and from venues, to be the primary AIC for the client and to coordinate with other security and government agencies on security planning for the details movements. During this contract I reported directly to the Site Manager for security operations on a consent basis.

09/2008 Ė Present, I am currently working as the Site Manager for a contract in Kabul, Afghanistan. My duties are to oversee all PSD operations within this contract and to facilitate all foreign contacts for the client, submit and review all security assessments and levels of security for each venue on the contract. I keep track of all expenses for the project and maintain all banking operations for the contract on Excel and Microsoft programs. I maintain security clearances for the all PSS members on month to month bases, currently I am also on the PSS security detail as the team leader. However due to the contract being in the early stages and has just started in this country, I am in the process of interviewing prospective replacements for my tactical commander position. This position I have held for the past 3 yrs in different countries but for the same contract under one company.
