To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to apply for a position as a supervisor/foreman/lead technician with your company. I have 30 years experience strictly in the HVAC/R trade. I have varied experience in the field but mostly in the commercial and industrial area. I have supervised and lead shops overseas as well as in the United States. I am a very self reliant and motivated individual and lead by example. I always give my utmost to do the best job
possible, in a timely manner. I feel that you would be very pleased with my performance,
given the opportunity to be employed by your company.
I am currently employed by Kellogg, Brown and Root as Foreman of Site F-2, Wayne’s World, Industrial Zone, Victory Base Camp, HVAC/R O&M Shop at F-2/Industrial Zone Baghdad, Iraq. My current contract will end in January 2009. I am looking forward to continued employment overseas.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Experience 1976-1980, 1983-1992 United States Air Force

Job Duties-Install, repair and maintain base facilities. Including
Environmental controls, air conditioning, heating and
Refrigeration systems. The complex systems that this involved
were residential split systems, 400 ton chilled water, air dryers,
Air compressors, medical essential vacuum pumps, various pumps,
fans and other mission essential equipment. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain Liebert split computer room environmental units.As NCOIC (Foreman, Supervisor) to supervise, train, perform written performance reports, and educate a labor force consisting of civilians
and military personal. This was accomplished both in peacetime
and in support of Operation Desert Shield and Storm.

1980.1983 Revlon Inc.

Job duties-HVAC maintenance; maintain, service and repair of all plant air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems for both environmental and production uses. Responsible for assorted screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating chillers. Both air and water cooled systems. Comfort systems were of different tonnage, split, package and chilled water with penthouse air-handlers. Repaired and serviced various models of Liebert computer room environmental units. A Black Seal Firemen’s license was required to operate and perform repairs and maintenance on the two 1000 ton #6 oil fired boilers and the two 800 ton gas fired boilers. Plant air was cleansed by various separators and air-driers. Performed water testing, treatment for the boilers, chilled water systems and maintained all pumps for the systems.

1992 -1993 Bi – Lo supermarket chain

Job duties- Maintain service and repair store heating, air- conditioning and refrigeration systems. Equipment included all freezers, coolers, display cases and various commercial kitchen equipment. Troubleshoot and repair rack single and two stage compressor systems. All HVAC systems were 5 to 20 ton heat pump or with electric heat capabilities. I serviced all stores south of Augusta, Ga. to Vidalia, Ga. by myself with the main office in Mauldin, SC.

1993-2002 IPG Anchor Continental

Job Duties- Install, service repair all environmental equipment to included gas packs, heat pumps, 60- 120 ton chillers( screw and reciprocating) 600 – 800 ton gas fired boilers, production ovens. As lead HVAC technician I maintained Freon usage logs, ordered all parts, tracked their use, planned and supervised project jobs as well as new installations and upgrades. Maintained and repaired Liebert environmental systems. Company job description for my position was as an industrial electrician as well and responded to production line equipment electrical calls, dc drive failures, LEL (lower explosive level) sensory calibration and line shutdowns. Supervised and provided training to other HVAC technicians.

2002-2003 Choice Construction

Job Duties- Supervise district office in Columbia, SC of Service Company that maintained the HVAC systems in Big Lot, Shoe Carnival, and Radio Shack stores located in SC, and Florida. Maintained company contact with store managers, ordered and purchased all parts required for repairs and system replacement. I coordinated transport, cranes, set up and manpower for new rooftop system installations. Supervised and trained six technicians and four assistant technicians. Office duties also included maintenance and service scheduling, time sheets, payroll and interoffice communication.

2003-2004 WB Guimarin Co.

Job Duties- To maintain, repair, service and install various HVAC systems both commercial and industrial. For major communication and financial institutions serviced, repaired and provided maintenance for Liebert environmental systems. Clients included office high rise complexes, state buildings, schools and industrial plants. Most units were commercial package units of various brands and sizes. Carrier and Trane chillers both air and water cooled. Many various gas fired boilers of different tonnage.

2004- 2006 Kellogg, Brown and Root

Job Duties- Lead Technician, foreman of the HVAC shop at Camp Cuervo/Rustamiyah, Iraq. Supervise the service, repair and installation of many different brands of split, wall, and central heating and air-conditioning systems of two to five tons. Maintain and replenish bench stock items. Train and supervise Iraqi Nationals, Pakistani TCN’s and expatriates. Plan and set up new installations on a daily basis as part of upgrading these camps facilities.

2006 – 2007 Caddell Construction Co.

Job Duties – Assist in fabrication of ductwork. Install hangers for ductwork as per blue print specification. Hang ductwork. Pin, insulate and mast after completed installation. Install seismic bracing. Install all chilled water and air handling controls. Assist in startup of chillers and air handlers with company representatives and insure all components are installed and performing within companies and OBO specifications. After completion of HVAC tasks assist electricians with their tasks and assist plumbers with installing sprinkler systems here at the new U.S. Embassy in Algiers, Algeria.

2007 – 2008 Lear Siegler Services Inc.

Job Duties – Repair, service and rebuild mobile chillers and ECU's for the U.S. Army to be sent back overseas. Diagnosis of gas powered chiller motors and system.Rebuild motors, carberators, and starters On ECU's, replace compressors, repair leaks diagnosis of electrical malfunctions and repair. On mobile heating units, troubleshoot electrical circuit, repair heating elements and blowers. On various small diesel generators troubleshoot discrepancies and repair.

2008 – Present Kellogg, Brown and Root

Job Duties – I am currently Foreman of the HVAC/R Shop at Site F-2, Wayne’s World, Industrial Zone, Victory Base Camp, Baghdad, Iraq. We troubleshoot, repair, install and provide periodic maintenance to various size and brand split and package air-
conditioning systems. To include replacing 300 tons of Carrier Screw
compressors, diagnosis and replacement of control boards, sensors and
transducers. The diagnosis of control circuit errors and repair as
necessary all controls in chilled water loop. Service chilled water and cooling tower pumps. Align pump and motor couplings with dial indicator to closest tolerance. Install, set up control circuit and start-up of Liebert computer room systems. Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance on Thermo-King, Mitsubishi and Carrier refrigerated containers. Supervise, provide training and work with assigned foreign nationals. During his time I have given EPA classes for all our TCN’s and to those from other sites, all of which scored above 92 % and received their Universal Certification. I perform daily training classes on basic air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration as well as electrical circuits and troubleshooting. I am in the process of formulating a lesson plan on the servicing, repair and maintenance of refrigerated containers to give classes to all HVAC/R personnel thru out our theatre of operation. I must maintain all safety, material and MSDS records for inspection by DCMA and other government compliance agencies. Maintain our bench stock of parts at 100 % due to we also supply all other sites with their needed material. I presently supervise four Expats and 28 TCN technicians to accomplish our mission. I currently have a Secret Clearance.
