2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I started my Marine Engineering cadetship in 1985 and completed it in 1989, this covered training in all aspects of marine/mechanical engineering and some electrical training. Between 1989 and 1992 I served on various dry cargo and Ro-Ro vessels as Third engineer and a year as acting Second engineer on Rig supply vessels. I took up a management role as an operations manager for 4 years due to family reasons. I return to sea as second engineer in 1996 and served on large Ro-Ro's and various container ships till 2007. I was then offered a position as governor shop manager, servicing, trouble shooting on Woodward, Zexel and other governors and control systems for Marine engines. Since January 08 to present we have been standing by the building and assisting with the commissioning of an energy from waste incinerator, which will burn 410 000 tons of municipal waste and create 41 megawattts of electricity.
