As a Sr. Document Controller with Dar Al Handasah (Shair & Partners), Dubai (Sept. 06 to till date):-

• General Office Administration
• Documentation (ISO Standards) & Publishing the Engineering documents through BIW Software & get feed back through network (WAN).
• Prepare Specifications & BOQ for the Documentation ( Submittals, Admin requirements etc. ) for the projects at the tender & finalization stages of the projects in hand
• Maintain the document control system for the project ensuring all document control procedures are adhered to by project execution team
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing project documentation and correspondences through the document control system
• Monitor and continuously in order to improve the effectiveness of the document control procedures and processes according to the project specifications/ contract documents.
• Update project management on document control status, control sheets, transmittal issuance and correspondence status and report to the Boss.
• Ensure the archiving of all project documentation including hard and electronic copies as required by the projects’ execution team.

• Maintain the document control system for the Military & ensuring all Military document control procedures are adhered to by the Battalions consisting of 1000 Soldiers & Officers. (NZ office is administering 150 Battalions in which I worked for the DIG PA Section).
• Process all incoming and outgoing Regional office documentation and correspondences through the document control system
• Monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of the document control procedures and processes according to the Indian Military Standards.
• Update Regional office documents on document control status, control sheets, transmittal issuance and correspondence status
• Archive all Regional Head Office documentation including hard and electronic copies as required by the Military documentation system.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all the Battalions
• HR Related Activities. (Disciplinary Procedures, Insurance, Grievance redressal, Transfer Letters, Force Deployment )
